The 23-year-old influencer said he has “struggled” in the past, particularly early in his transition, with his rejection of his gender identity.
Speaking to Pinknews, the fellow said it felt “very difficult” to face rejection of “something you really can’t control about yourself.”
“Not all gay men are open to dating trans men, and that’s totally fine,” he said. “I felt it very personal, so when I was a little younger, I struggled with it more.”

The Fellow learned about his identity fairly quickly while competing on the show, and opened up to fellow contestants about dating as a gay transman in episode 1.
He told Pinknake that his experience as a transman allowed him to distinguish between “preferences and prejudices.”
“The more you get yourself out there, the more you really see the difference between you and people,” he said. “In the end, I don’t want to be with people who feel like something is missing. I’m with people who don’t see it as an issue and they really want to see me for me.”
The Fellow said the perfect relationship admitted that his gender identity was not a “determinant” but that it was “hard” to overcome.
Anyway, he said he was able to overcome feelings of anxiety through experience and “many rejections.”
