Center Aging monthly luncheon (with yoga and drug bingo) It will be held at the DC Center for the LGBT Community from 12:00 p.m. Send email to your Mac [email protected] If you need ASL interpreter assistance, have dietary restrictions, or have questions about this event.

Sponsored by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Happy Hour Meetup” 7pm at Freddy’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This is your chance to relax, make new friends, and enjoy happy hour specials at this classic retro venue. Participation is free and details can be found here event bright.

trans discussion group It will be held via Zoom from 7pm. The group aims to provide an emotionally and physically safe space for transgender people and those who are questioning their gender identity or expression to join the community and learn from each other. Saturday, February 28th

Sponsored by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” 11 a.m. at Freddy’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings together the DMV area’s LGBTQ+ community (including allies) for great food and conversation. Participation is free and details can be found here event bright.

It’s an opportunity to take a break from your busy life, invest in something meaningful, and enjoy good food, hearty laughs, and conversations that connect and inspire. black lesbian support group It will be held via Zoom from 1pm. This is a peer-led support group that addresses the joys and challenges of being a Black lesbian. You do not have to be a member of Beta Kappa Chapter or Beta Phi Omega Sorority to participate, but you will be asked if you identify as lesbian or have questioned that aspect of your identity. Coffee and Conversation for the LGBTQ+ Community It will be held at As You Are from 12:00 p.m. This event is for people looking to make more friends and meaningful connections in the LGBTQ community. Participation is free and details can be found here event bright.

Monday, March 2nd

“Center Aging: Monday Coffee Clutch” It will be held via Zoom from 10am. This is social time for LGBTQ+ seniors. Please bring your favorite drink. For more information, see Adam ([email protected]).

Tuesday, March 3rd

universal pride meeting It will be held via Zoom from 7pm. The group aims to support, educate, empower and create change for people with disabilities. For more information please email us [email protected].

Wednesday, March 4th

job club Meetings will be held on Zoom from 6pm upon request. This is a weekly job support program designed to help job seekers and candidates, including the long-term unemployed, improve their confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity, as well as assist them with effective job searching and networking, enabling participants to move from being mere ‘applicants’ to ‘candidates’. Center Elderly Women Exchange and Discussion Group It will be held via Zoom from 6pm. This group is a place for older LGBTQ+ women to meet and connect. There will be discussions and activities, as well as an opportunity for guests to share what they would like to see included in future events. For more information please email us [email protected].

Thursday, March 5th

DC center fresh food program It will be held throughout the day at the DC Center for the LGBT Community. You will be notified on Wednesday at 5pm if you have been selected to receive a produce box. virtual yoga class It will be held via Zoom from 7pm. This free weekly class combines yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation to help members of the LGBTQ+ community continue their healing journey through physical and mindfulness practices. Visit the DC Center for more information. Website.
