Here’s why Tim Gunn is not on “Project Runway” Season 21

You have it right. Thanks to the power that ended with Freeform, Hulu and Disney+, we have one more time Project Runway On our TV.

Season 21 of the show rebooted earlier this summer, with Heidi Krum returning to the runway as a host, with Nina Garcia and Roach as judges and Christian Siliano as contestants’ coach.

And while the presence of Christian Sigliano is no surprise to anyone who has seen the original series throughout the 00’s, he previously won a season 4 and returned as a mentor in season 17-20. Fans of the show said, “Where are you in the world?”

Well, it was after co-hosting the show for 16 seasons (and after leaving in 2018, creating a new fashion show called Amazon Video, Make a cut), Tim Gunn was not asked to restart.
