fierce rivalry continues to rock the internet, and episode 4 of Crave’s sexy series also provides sex education for viewers.
The LGBTQ+ sports drama, based on the erotic novel by Rachel Reid, focuses on two rival hockey players, Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander (Conner Story and Hudson Williams, respectively), and their passionate secret love affair.
Since the show first aired at the end of November, it has quickly become known for its explicit gay sex scenes and the natural chemistry between its stars.
Episode 4 of the series, which aired last weekend, introduced some viewers to a previously unknown (to them) sexual act: frotting.

And the reaction, both from those who discovered what this is and from those who were surprised by it, has been considerable.
“I had no idea that some of the people who watched the couch scene in episode 4 didn’t even know what frottage was. That thought never crossed my mind,” one person wrote on X/Twitter, which has since gone viral.

So, what is flotation? It’s essentially dry humping, where two people (not necessarily men) rub their genitals against each other. It can also be seen as mutual masturbation.
The key is to derive sexual pleasure through intimacy, friction, and touch, not penetration. For those who don’t prefer anal penetration, including gay men, frotting is a viable alternative.
