Yasmin Finney, Dani St. James, Reid Amber and many other LGBTQ+ trailblazers are uniting in support of Queer Health 2026.
The fundraising night, to be held at London’s Battersea Arts Center on July 2, the Thursday before London Pride, will be dedicated to improving the health and healthcare experience of LGBTQIA+ people. Funds raised on the night will be donated to Not A Phase and the LGBT Foundation.
Further names have yet to be announced, but participants confirmed so far include Heartstoppers actress Yasmin Finney, Not a Phase CEO Dani St James, National LGBT+ Health Advisor Dr Michael Brady and LGBT Foundation C. EO’s Dr Paul Martin, Baroness Elizabeth Barker, sexual health influencer Reid Amber, LGBT Mummy founder Laura Rose Thorogood and Transparent Change CIC founder Jacob Stockoo.
They will participate in discussions exploring four themes: “The Beauty of Transition,” “Sexual Health, Uncensored,” “Family Foundations,” and “Emotional Resilience and Longevity.”
Queer Health 2026 comes at a time when attitudes towards LGBTQ+ people around the world are sadly deteriorating.
In the UK, more than a quarter of LGBTQ+ people have had a negative experience with healthcare, compared to more than half of transgender people.
And with 22% of Gen Z identifying as LGBTQ+, the need for change has never been greater.
