Soccer Aid will return in 2026, with a number of LGBTQ+ stars set to take to the pitch, including Jill Scott and Goalkeeper Barry.
Soccer Aid, the world’s largest charity soccer match, has been held annually since 2018 and continues to raise millions of dollars for UNICEF.
The match will pit England, led by Robbie Williams, against the World Eleven team, led by Usain Bolt. Last year, the latter won 5-4.
Scott will return to Team England. The 39-year-old former professional soccer player has become a star player with his soccer talent. Last year, she was the team’s captain, but it has not yet been announced whether she will continue as captain this year.
Scott will be joined by former Lionesses Toni Duggan and Steph Houghton, who made their debuts last year.
Additionally, popular podcaster Barry (real name Grace Keeling) will appear on the pitch for the first time. The 26-year-old influencer is best known for her podcast. saving graceand a fun TikTok.
Girlfriends Ali Krieger and Jen Beattie also appear.

Barry isn’t an expert on football. She is dating Ella Rutherford. Rutherford currently plays as an attacking midfielder for Portsmouth. She previously played for Millwall, Bristol City and Charlton Athletic.
The two were embroiled in soccer-related drama last year while conducting the draw for the Women’s League Cup. The two made some lesbian jokes that seemed unprofessional.
Barry and Scott will join goalkeeper Joe Hart, Traitors’ Joe Marler and presenter Paddy McGuinness in the England squad.
They will also perform with fan-favorite celebrity and influencer Angry Gingi. pubertyOwen Cooper and singer Olly Murs.
Scott and Barry aren’t the only LGBTQ+ players on the field. His girlfriend Ali Krieger and Jenn Beatty will play for Team World XI.
Krieger, a star player for the US women’s team, and Beattie, a former Scotland international and Arsenal women’s defender, confirmed their relationship on Thanksgiving Day 2024.
Their team has gladiatorsoccer icons Jordi Alba and Leonardo Bonucci, and Big Zoo, who scored last year’s winning goal.

This year’s Soccer Aid will be held on May 31st. Kick-off is at 6:30pm and the match will be held at the London Stadium.
