Gay Reality TV Couple Attacked in Violent Road Rage

A gay couple who appear on a fashion-focused reality TV series have shared a video of a stranger attacking their car in an apparent fit of extreme road rage.

Amazon Prime series co-hosts Patrick Simpson and Pol Atteu Beverly Hills outing with gown and took off my clothes According to the podcast, they were driving between 9:20 and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, when they stopped at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Vine Street in Hollywood when the driver of a gray Toyota 4Runner with a roof rack intercepted their vehicle.

“[The driver] He drove onto the wrong side of the road, parked diagonally in front of us, and clipped our car,” said Simpson, who recorded the interaction. KABC. “I couldn’t turn left, I couldn’t turn right, I couldn’t move forward. I didn’t know what was going on.”

Simpson and Atteu sat stunned as a man got out of his car, approached their car, and punched and kicked the driver’s side window and door.

“He gave me the death stare. I literally thought he was going to kill us,” he said.

In the video, Simpson can be heard telling Ateu to close the door and call the police.

Mr. Ateu, who was driving, was worried that if the man broke into his car, he might harm them.

“I thought, ‘If this guy gets back in his car, he’s going to get me something…I’m dead. I’m literally…dead.’ This was the moment I faced my fear, ‘I’m just going to die here.’ This is it,” he recalled.

After failing to break through the window, the driver got back in his car and left the scene, leaving a blood stain where he hit the car with his hand.

Despite warnings from a 911 caller, the couple followed the man’s car for several miles. “I wanted a license plate,” Simpson said.

Ateu claims the man ran multiple red lights and stop signs and pursued her, even though there appeared to be children in the car. “From what I saw, there was a person in the passenger seat holding a baby,” he said.

It remains unclear what prompted the man’s actions.

“It must be the wrong person, because I don’t know who this person is. I don’t know where this person is coming from,” Ateu said.

simpson said KTLA They didn’t know if the man knew who they were, but they suspected the incident might have been targeted.

Police have not yet identified the driver, although Simpson and Atteu provided their license plate numbers when they reported the incident.

In the video shot by Simpson, the driver is described as a large, stocky man with a black beard, clear-framed glasses, a black graphic T-shirt that reads “Don’t Panic It’s Organic,” and a visible tattoo on his sleeve.
