Join Jake Sears on a podcast Makes music weird Recently, Halford, who is currently touring North America with Alice Cooper, revealed that he married his partner Thomas last year.

“We married an outside cactus about a year ago,” explained Halford, who lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
Halford only showed that he had asked him multiple times in the past to “my marriage,” and was told, “No, I don’t want to marry you.” He continued. “At one of our night walks, suddenly [Thomas] “I think we should get married.” [I went] A straight home [and got] By phone to get a pastor. ”
The two who had been together for 35 years had a “very simple ceremony,” Halford told Sears. “It was obviously me and him and it was legal to marry people, like they were calling them,” including witnesses, “There were only four people around the pool, around the cactus, around the heavy metal cactus. It ended in a flash. But it was just a beautiful, simple ceremony.”

The frontman of Judah’s priest said it was “just right” to marry. “When you get married, your commitment is on another level. That’s great. And if it doesn’t work, it’s life. But after 35 years of being together, I think it’s working,” he added.
Halford touched on the childhood closet gay man of the priest of Judas and said, “We have to deal with it.” He admitted the “paralysis” of rejection and the fear of losing everything using substances. “It was tough having to live a double life for so long,” he said.
