Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” 12pm at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings together the DMV area LGBTQ+ community, including allies, for delicious food and conversation. Attendees are free and detailed EventBrite.
LGBT Color Support Group Zoom will take 1pm. This peer support group is an outlet for LGBTQ people of color to come together to talk about what’s impacting in a space where they strive to be safe and judged. Hosted by Miss Capital Pride “Dc Drug Branch on the Roof – Penthouse” 12pm at MXDC Cocina Mexicana. Guests will experience a Mexican brunch infused with special baby shank dishes complemented by margaritas and mimosas. This is a support group for people who identify outside of gender binary, whether you are Bigender, Agender, GenderFluid or not know that you are not 100% CI. Job Club Zoom will take 6pm. This is a weekly employment support program to help employment participants and seekers, including long-term unemployed, improve their confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity for effective job search and networking, allowing participants to simply move away from becoming “applicants” towards “candidates.” For more information, please send an email [email protected] Or visit thedcenter.org/careers.
Asexual and aromatic groups Meeting will be virtually in-person at 7pm at the DC Center of the LGBT community.
