Friday, September 26th

“Monthly Lunch and Yoga Center Aging” Visit the DC Center at the DC Center, a new location in the LGBT community, located at RSVP from 1827 Wiltberger St, NW. Website Or email [email protected].

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Happy Hour” 7pm at the bar at DuPont Italian Kitchen. This event is ideal for creating new friends, professional networking, ideas sharing, and community building. This event is free and details are available at EventBrite.

Transdiscussion group Zoom will take you to 7pm. The group aims to provide a safe space emotionally and physically for trans* people and those who may question gender identity/expression to participate in the community and learn from each other. Saturday, September 27th

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” 12pm at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings food and conversation together to the DMV area LGBTQ+ community, including allies. Attendees are free and detailed EventBrite.

Black lesbian support group Zoom will take 11am. The DC Center and Beta Phi Omega Sorority Beta Kappa Chapters are working with this peer-led support group dedicated to the joy and challenges of being a black lesbian. You do not need to be a member of the Beta Kappa Chapter or Beta Phi Omega Sorority to participate, but please identify as a lesbian or question that aspect of your identity. Sunday, September 28th

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+Ice Cream Social” at 2334 Meade St., Arlington, VA at 3pm. The Ice Cream Truck offers several exciting flavors and toppings, including rainbow sprinkles. There are no added sugar, no gluten-free, no dairy-free options. This ice cream social will be a fun gathering of gaybohoods. For more information, please see details EventBrite.

Monday, September 29th

“Center Aging Monday Coffee Clutch” Zoom in to 10am. This is a social time for older LGBTQ+ adults. Guests are encouraged to bring their chosen drinks. For more information, please send an email [email protected].

Hosted by Go Gay DC “Sharlington LGBTQ+ Community Happy Hour” At Palette 22 at 6pm. This event is ideal for creating new friends, professional networking, ideas sharing, and community building. This event is free and details are available at EventBrite.

Tuesday, September 30th

“Talk-O-Tuesday” It’s 7pm at Strand DC. This event is curated for Bipoc Gay/Bi/Trans Men and male Identifiers. To help promote community, encouragement and thoughtful dialogue, it can be a fun and engaging experience and provides a safe and supportive space to express yourself. Tickets are available for purchase for $13.26 EventBrite.

Wednesday, October 1st

Job Club Zoom will take 6pm. This is a weekly employment support program to help employment participants and seekers, including long-term unemployed, improve their confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity for effective job search and networking, allowing participants to simply move away from becoming “applicants” towards “candidates.” For more information, please send an email [email protected] Or visit thedcenter.org/careers.

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Activities at the Women’s National Democratic Club” at Whitmore House at 6pm. Guests will be able to get votes in Virginia and other important state races to other WNDC activists for writing letters and postcards. The postcard will be written to rural Virginia women and members of the House Rule 101 Congress in cooperation with the DC Democratic State Commission. Center Aging Women Social and Discussion Group Zoom will take you to 7pm. This group is a place where older LGBTQ+ women can meet and socialize with each other. There is an opportunity for guests to share what they want to include in future events. For more information, see DC Center details Website.

Thursday, October 2nd

DC Center Fresh produce program It will be held all day at the DC Center of the LGBT community. People will be notified at 5pm on Wednesday if they are chosen to receive a box of produce. No evidence of residence or income is required. For more information, please send an email [email protected] Alternatively, call 202-682-2245.

Virtual yoga with Sara M Zoom will take you to 7pm. This is a free weekly class focusing on yoga, breathing work and meditation. For more information, please visit the DC Center of the LGBT Community Website.
