Next destination: Saskatchewan. After feeling like eternity, Chapel Lawn finally drops her highly anticipated sufficient ballad “The Subway,” with the reaction being *Chefs Kiss*.
The star launched a rather shaggy marketing strategy in New York in early July. She was also singing filming the attached music video.
The stubborn “PopStars” recalls the singer who made his “subway” debut in 2024 with the New York Governor Ball. However, the song’s official studio release has not yet come to fruition as it chronicles previous concerns.
“The Subway,” released on EST at 8pm on July 31, marked Roan’s second single in 2025, followed by Sapphic Country Bop “The Giver.” Lone is not a stranger to a heartbreaking split song if Taylor Swift wasn’t enough to run for her money in “Coffee,” “Lucky Baby!”, “Casual,” and “Casual,” but her latest track is certainly true.
Lorne described the “subway” as “encompassing everything I like about New York City,” she told fans ahead of the release.
This song perfectly captures your starhole feeling of encountering an ex that you struggle to get through. “I saw your green hair, the mark of beauty next to your mouth.
“A few weeks later, someone was wearing your perfume. /It almost killed me. I had to leave the room,” the singer continues.
In fact, her heartache runs so deeply that she even considers moving to Canada to avoid seeing her past lover again. “I made an appointment. If I feel that this isn’t gone in four months, I’ll move to this city, Saskatchewan.”
And her fans seem to want to pack her up and move with her, with many taking her to social media to share that the “subway” officially “eating forever.”

“Thank you for sticking it out for a year. It was worth making sure everything was absolutely right.”
How do you feel that listening to Chapel Lawn’s “Subway” is someone I’ve never groped, always got a fumble and know that I really ran away?
