After being cut from the series, DelveyDancing with the Stars Asked in his exit interview what he hoped to get out of the contest, the convicted fraudster curtly replied, “Nothing!” while Sosa visibly grimaced.
Her dance partner has since spoken out about her brutal confession: Sosa shared the video to her Instagram Story on September 25, captioning it, “I think she was referring to ‘physically’ taking something.”
Sosa also said that his first time performing as a professional dancer on the series was “the most memorable experience.” He wrote in an Instagram post: “I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to my partner, Anna Delvey.”
“While she has certainly been controversial, working with her has given me the opportunity to see another side of her — one filled with hard work, determination and tenacity,” he wrote.
He thanked his “DWTS family” for the opportunity, and also thanked Delvey, saying, “For dancing with me and opening your heart up. You showed me a side of you that not many people know. I thank you for that. I truly hope that one day America will get to see that side of you. I know they will love her as much as I do.”
However, Delvey previously doubled down on his thoughts on the series, saying: Good Morning America In fact, the most fun thing for her about appearing on the show that day was “being eliminated.”
She has previously faced criticism for her appearance on DWTS, with her dance partner being forced to defend her from trolls via a TikTok video after she was spotted “crying in the bathroom.”
