Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” 12pm at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings together the DMV area LGBTQ+ community, including allies, for delicious food and conversation. Attendees are free and detailed EventBrite.
Hosted by Kiki and Jhouse “Stiletto and Stonewall: Joseph’s House Drug Fundraising” At 2:30pm, Kiki. It is a fierce drug fundraiser that benefits Joseph’s House, a DC-based organization that provides medical rest, support services and end-of-life care to individuals who do not suffer from HIV/AIDS, cancer, or terminal illness. Druex Sidora and Baphomette’s performances, as well as DJ Blasian’s music, hosted by the iconic swayer. Ticket costs $33.85 and is available EventBrite.

Hosted by Rainbow History Project “LGBTQ+ West DuPont and P Street History Walking Tour” It’s 10am from Dupont Circle. The senior curator of the Rainbow History Project will lead an hour-long walking tour on the west side of the DuPont district and P Street corridors. Do you know about the gay liberation front of the 1970s? Badlands, Apex, Mr. Do you miss P? Does your lesbian history knowledge include the establishment of the Lesbian Avengers? Or how did they swallow the fire on the first embankment march? Have you heard of cruising at P Street Beach? Did you know where Gay Pride Day was hosted in the 1980s? Gender Care DC It will be held directly at the DC Center of the LGBT community on Zoom at 7pm. This is a support group for people who identify outside of gender binary, whether you know you’re not Bigender, Agender, GenderFluid, or 100% CI. Tuesday, August 12th
Transdiscussion group Zoom will take you to 7pm. The group aims to provide a safe space emotionally and physically for trans people and those who may question their gender identity/expression to participate in the community and learn from each other. The group welcomes everyone who is identified or is confident under a trans* umbrella, and seeks to continually strengthen the principles of respect, acceptance and protection through ongoing input from participants. Issuing a discussion group Zoom will take you to 7pm. This is a peer facilitation discussion group. It’s a safe space to share your experiences about what’s coming up and discuss topics related to doing so. By sharing struggles and victory, the group can learn from new people and others for a while. Lesbian, gay, bi, trance, allie and more can be involved in discussions. DC Center Fresh produce program It will be held all day at the DC Center of the LGBT community. People will be notified at 5pm on Wednesday if they are chosen to receive a box of produce. South Asia LGBTQ+ Support Group Zoom will take you to 7pm. Khushdc provides a secure, confidential space for South Asian LGBTQ community members to come together and share their experiences. Peer Support Groups are outlets where LGBTQ individuals identified in South Asia come and talk about what impacts them. It’s a safe, unjudgmental environment for discussing relationships, sexuality, health, happiness, identity, culture, religion, or what’s in your mind.
