Bowen Yang Responds To Aimee Lou Wood SNL Criticism

Bowen Yang responds to Amy Lou Wood’s criticism

A week has passed since then SNLA controversial parody of White lotus It aired, but it still dominates pop cultural conversations.

A brief summary: Last week’s episode of Jon Hamm-Hosted aired a long-running sketch show White lotus The parody is called “White Potus.” (The subtlety wasn’t the powerful suit of this show.)

Part of the parody was featuring cast member Sarah Sherman with similar characters White lotus Cast member Amy Loowood. When Jon Hamm-As-RFK Jr. mentioned removing fluoride from drinking water, Sarah’s personality poses a huge fake tooth, “Fluoride?”

Amy wasn’t happy. She took it to IG’s story the next day SNL It was aired to call the portrayal “mean and distrust” and later claimed it SNL He was offering her an apology (it seems there is because it’s worth it Conflict reports above).

“But it’s perfectly valid that she responded to that sketch,” he said in an interview with Extra. “When you use parody, you forget about the emotional costs of a person that someone praises you.”

“everyone SNL She’s a fan of the show and obviously a fan of her. We just think she should be very proud of her work in the season. I think this is what we tend to forget from time to time. This was a reminder and it appears she spoke to people on the show about it.
