“I think it’s great that Governor Newsom brings a variety of voices,” Besher told reporters Thursday in Leesburg, Virginia. Multiple media Report. “We shouldn’t be afraid of anyone talking or discussing, but Steve Bannon is advocating hatred and anger, and at some point violence.

Both Beshear and Newsom have been mentioned as potential candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028. Besher was trying to speak to US Democrats at the retreat alongside two other DEM governors and potential presidential candidates Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan.

Bannon, former chief Breitbart News, He ran President Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016, and later in the first year of Trump’s presidency he was his senior counselor and chief White House strategist. However, Bannon left that same year after reporting a clash with Trump. However, Bannon remains a Trump supporter, pushing for unfounded claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. On January 5, 2021, he predicted “All hell will be unlocked tomorrow,” which did as Trump’s allies stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop Joe Biden’s vote recognition. Bannon served prison time for refusing to testify before a parliamentary committee investigating the January 6 attack.

Similarly, Republican Adam Kintzinger, who attended that committee and has since left Congress, also accused Newsom of hosting Bannon and another far-right activist, Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk. This is Gavin Newsom Podcast.

“Many of us on the right are taking these people at the expense of our careers and Newsom is trying to create a career with them,” Kinzinger said in a video posted on social media.

In the first episode of his podcast, Newsom agreed with Kirk’s position that trans women and girls should not compete in women’s sports. Many LGBTQ+ Activists criticized Newsom, who is primarily considered an LGBTQ+ ally for these comments.

Bessia, who rejected Kentucky’s exclusive sports bill – his veto was overturned by lawmakers, but his news position on it also had problems.

“I think sports need to be fair, but I believe our different leagues have more than the ability to do that,” Besher said Thursday, noting that the Kentucky High School Athletics Association has its own rules for trans-athletes.

“But our council decided we had to give something anyway,” he added. “And you know what they did? They removed the opportunity for the only trans athlete we had in our state. He started a field hockey team at her school and a field hockey team that he never made friends. So, certainly, in this overall discussion, you can see some humanity and some different perspectives.

Beshear said he hadn’t heard the entire episode of Newsom’s Podcast.

Newsom explained his decision to host Bannon in an email sent to his supporters on Wednesday. “I think it’s very important to understand how Magazine rights were organized in the last election and what we’re thinking about in weeks, months, years,” he writes. “I also don’t think other places like Steve Bannon (self-proclaimed populists) will be asked to protect the harmful effects of Trump’s tariffs.”

“Mr. Newsom has long been fascinated by the conservative media ecosystem, saying Republicans are beating Democrats by using a ton of communication tools to spread their messages. New York Times Report. “Now in his last two years as governor, Newsom, who is widely seen as a potential candidate for the 2028 presidential election, is experimenting with a new channel.”

“The tenor with Bannon was set early when Newsom didn’t push back repeated false claims that President Trump had won the 2020 election.” The era. “The governor doesn’t seem to see the argument as a fact-checking session. He intermittently intermittently, including when Bannon was called “Pocahontas” by Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. ”

Newsom recently held another right-right, right-right, anti-LGBTQ+ commentator Michael Savage at his show. Savage argued that the trans issue lost Kamala Harris’ presidential election. “The whole trans issue has caused women who are usually liberal,” Savage said. San Francisco standard.“When kids are brainwashed at school to embrace that kind of thing in kindergarten… when they start crossing that line to school, they know what happened.”

Newsom was not pushed back, even if the woman was. He’s more likely to vote for Harris than Trump than men. No, children are not “brainwashed” to embrace trans people.

Actress and activist Jane Fonda also criticized Newsom for hosting Bannon and likened him to the British Neville Chamberlain, who softened Adolf Hitler before World War II, but Chamberlain’s successor Winston Churchill has defeated the UK, the US and their allies over the Nazis. “Is he Chamberlain or Churchill?” she said in an interview with Fox Los Angeles affiliate Elex Michelson. “Now he’s Chamberlain… he was Churchill.”
