Alan Cumming spoke about BuzzFeed The traitor, cabaretand a soothing new collaboration with His Virgin Atlantic. They meet for the latter as the actor partners with Virgin Atlantic to celebrate the airline’s new LAX clubhouse. He tells a bedtime story entitled “Relax and Relax with Alan Camming.” I ask him how he relaxes, and above the usual – he doesn’t call before going to bed or read airplane cocktails – he answers, “It’s usually about running away from people.”These are on both sides of Alan Camming. There are some famous people we know. He talks about “erroneously stuffing” a “pair of amazing sneakers” that he was supposed to return after a recent photo shoot. Then he said, “When not the famous Alan Camming, or The traitor Alan Camming, or red carpet Alan Camming, prefers to wear clothes known as “disguised pajamas.”“I never want to be recognized, Until now. That’s not what I want. It’s just a part of my life,” he tells me. Maybe I don’t want to take a photo on this plane now, or while I’m picking up my dog poop,’He particularly recalls one night: “On my 40th birthday 20 years ago, I had a loud, crying cry the night before. I was drinking. And I said, ‘No, that’s because I don’t want to be famous anymore.’ I’m really intense and you’re always thrustling in my head.So what has changed? “Then I thought it would still happen for years if I stopped making movies and stopped everything, so I realized I had to deal with it,” he continued. “Along with my success, I have a lovely home where I can go, and they are sanctuaries – people don’t know where I am, it’s away from everyone. It’s definitely something I created to escape from being recognized. But it’s part of life. But fortunately, if people didn’t recognize me, probably I don’t have those lovely homes. There’s a mass of people who are likely to recognize him now for his grand hosting Traitor. Have you ever had a moment that happened behind the scenes that viewers probably don’t know? “Last year, when we were on a boat, we weren’t allowed to get off the boat for health and safety,” he begins, “there are a lot of people trying to run around and avoid getting on screen.”“I, the contestants and some of the crew have been on this two-hour journey amid a mental storm,” he continues. “We’re tilted to the point where the ocean is actually above the window. Vomiting of such a projectile from Sandra. Of course, the only person who was totally okay with that was Kate. Under the deck. She said, “Do you have any drinks?” Is there alcohol here? “What I’m paying attention to from the shelf: vomiting upstairs, cameras falling into the sea. And Kate and I are just shooting the wind and playing whiskey. ”If there is a suitable image of Alan, it seems there certainly is a man sipping cocktails as the waves crash around him. This season, we ask him about the storm inside the traitor’s turret. “At one point, we named the traitor, so you don’t control it,” he replies. “There’s a certain amount of advice they get, and in their interviews they’re talking to people – that’s a conversation.”“It’s so interesting to me, this series had the fact that so many of these traitors were totally odd, confused, and dystopians to betray each other. And for it to end in such a lovely way, the four of them trust each other. “It was the ending that we all needed.”When his star gives strength The traitor Take him to a new audience and I ask if he’s still annoyed to see his sexuality being mislabeled. “I let it go,” he replied. “I think if people say gay when I have the chance to define myself as bisexual, then I actually like queer because it’s more inclusive and doesn’t necessarily have to do with what you do with your underwear. As Alan says, something else that has a strange sensibility The traitor itself. He explains.”The traitor That’s a strange show. I’m in the center of it and it’s very strange with all my crazy outfits. Two of the winners this year are strange people, and it’s really lovely. I really pushed to do better expression on the show and it certainly worked. ”“I think it’s really positive to see so many strange people right now, with all these harsh and scary things, laws and attitudes towards the American oddities and trans community. “Hopefully, we’ll challenge people. If you like all of that and love this show, you might not be voting for a party that’s trying to lightly mean and destroy those people’s lives.”It is not surprising that Alan continues to nurture politics, given the history of his activities and the fact that one of his most iconic roles is the role of the presenter. Cabaret – He won a Tony Award. There’s another revival of the Broadway show, with Adam Lambert playing the role. He talked about how he had to stop the show to call out the audience because he was laughing at the anti-Semitic joke at the song “You Can See Her.” I ask Alan if he thinks that in the current administration, the audience is likely to respond to the story of World Second Worlds in a different way.He is a quick reminder that he hasn’t played a role in 10 years. Laughter, he says, “is not new.” He said, “I think people are embarrassed, or I think it’s funny. Clearly, we live in an age of anti-Semitism, racism, homophobia. All of this is validated for the leaders we have chosen.”“If the government in their country is racist, I don’t think I can blame people for being racist all the time. So you need a good, kind, decent leader. It’s not surprising to me that it’s happening more and more frequently, as we don’t have it now. It’s obviously very dangerous,” he adds. He has not spoken to Adam, but points out that the key theme of the show is to explore the “slow, creeping nature of fascism.”
