Addison Rae Calls Charli XCX a ‘True Artist’ in Tonight Show Interview

Addison Ray brought sparkle, choreography and admiration for Charli XCX in her latest late-night appearance.

The Tiktok star has become a 24-year-old pop singer Tonight’s show starring Jimmy Fallon He performed her single “Diet Pepsi” on Thursday and chatted about his debut album Addison. But what stood out was her sparkling words about Charli XCX.

When Fallon asked Ray about his work with Charlie, she didn’t hold back her praise.

“I love Charlie. She’s such a true artist,” Ray said. “She’s so vulnerable and honest, she’s always faithful to herself, and that inspires me. When I see someone teaching me so enthusiastically, there’s no rule to this. Artistic is what you want.”

Charli, who has become a force to rob pop music, worked with Rae earlier this year. Rae’s perception of her influence highlights how Charli continues to shape the next wave of performers, including an internet-born star who finds her lane in the industry.

Vintage fashion moments

For her performance, Ray entered a fringe-covered gold sequin gown originally worn by burlesque legend Gypsy Rose Lee in the 1950s. The look, supplied by stylist at Los Angeles Boutique, Dalla, featured a beaded lover’s neckline with dramatic tassels that sparkled under the stage lights, in the way we wore it.

Decorated with nou’s custom gold mule, the Rae has an amber jewel on the toes and her name engraved on the bottom. She danced across the room and began her set lying on stage before closing Fallon’s desk count.

Convincingly record Colombia without a single demonstration

In her interview, Ray explained how to win her record deal before stepping into the studio. Instead of singing, she brought visuals and words.

“The colours were printed, the words were printed,” she said. “I told them, ‘I don’t have music yet, but I know exactly what I want this.’ I gave them 50 words to explain how it should feel, and 10 colors to suit it. ”

Gambling paid off. Ray laughed, admitting, “I’m really good at convincing people to believe me.”

Addison Ray’s Rising Pop Era

Between her viral singles, bold visuals and now the co-signature of Charli XCX, Rae is immersing her claims in pop culture beyond Tiktok. Her debut album, Addisonrestraining her shift from influencer to recording artist. The recording artist knows the value of vision, collaboration and respecting the people who inspire her.
