Main aspects of astrology

Aspect: This is one of the most important elements of astrology. This is important in understanding aspects of the chart. This is the angle or aspect between the planets in your birth chart. These aspects provide insight into how the planets interact and how they affect our lives.

These aspects are angles between planets in your birth chart, such as 0 degrees (conjunction), 60 degrees (sextile), 90 degrees (square), 120 degrees (trine), and 180 degrees (opposition). If you see planets associated with particular energies, such as the Sun or Moon, in your birth chart, aspects between them can indicate how those energies interact. This determines whether it is easy or difficult. Basically, the Sun is yourself and the Moon is our emotional self. 120 degrees (trine) between the two means you can easily work with both parts of yourself. A 90 degrees (square) between two planets means you tend to act on both parts of yourself. You can become your own worst enemy. This is a very basic definition.
