Now that Virgo season has begun, we are heading for solar eclipse season.
Thanks to the long trends of the Southern nodes of Virgo and Northern nodes of Pisces, the next round of eclipse will span these two variable signs.
Eclipses have wildcard quality, so much of September may have particularly variable or unpredictable edges. And that’s an ideal time for pattern breaking.
The Virgo Sun coexists with the Southern Node, so spiritual wisdom and ritual practices may be particularly useful in the coming weeks.
To add an extra emphasis on this quality of life in Flux, Saturn is re-entered into Pisces on September 1st, followed by Mercury’s movement to Virgo on September 2nd.

Let’s take a quick look at the solar eclipse that will be appearing this September.
September 7: Solar eclipse of the moon or full moon, 15 Pisces
This is a total lunar eclipse near the Northern Nodule of Pisces. This eclipse can feel full of emotions and lead to a eruption of compassion and emotional expression. It is a solar eclipse near the North Node, ruled by the cancerous Jupiter, so this makes the eclipse itself three – there is a sense of emotion for the future, working with a rhythm of care and connection that will keep you in the long run.
September 21: Eclipse of the Sun or Full Moon, 29 Virgo
This solar eclipse is closest to the South Node of Virgo. Technically it’s a new moon, but being close to the South Node suggests that this is a solar eclipse of clearing out, releasing and letting go. You may be aware of something that is running out or draining you. South nodes bring about positive themes of non-attack and are also able to move towards more spiritual or service-oriented goals, as they are not interested in secular success or outcomes.
The Eclipse season arrives every six months and can provide a unique opportunity to reset certain parts of the chart.
