March 1-25, 2026
Venus moves into Pisces, the sign of exaltation, late on the night of March 1st, where it will remain until March 25th. Let me say up front that this is one of the most welcome transits of the month, and we really need it given everything else going on in the sky.
March 2026 will be a difficult month astrologically. Mercury has been retrograde in Aquarius since mid-February, disrupting communication, confusing decision-making, and making even the simplest interactions feel like they’re going up a river. The retrograde fog will not clear up until March 20th. This means that Venus will arrive nearly three weeks before Mercury disappears and begins moving forward again. Think of her as a lamp that someone brings into a room where you were sitting in the dark. Although she will not solve all problems, her arrival will completely change the quality of the air.
In Pisces, Venus is at its most exalted and pure. The ancient prophets understood that for love to truly flow, it must be free from a critical spirit. And in Pisces, freed from the harsh discrimination of Virgo, Venus is finally able to express her deepest nature. She is no longer caught up in analysis or practicality. In Pisces, her highest dharma appears. Desiring truth over sensual pleasure, they aspire to wisdom as profound as Jupiter himself. This will be the most mysterious and most powerful Venus.
Venus is much more than the planet of romance and beauty, but she rules over both. She is a planet of gurus in and of itself. In her highest expression, she materializes the spiritual essence of man and brings spirituality to the material world. She presides over wealth, Lakshmi’s blessings, poetry, beautiful clothing, art, and music. She is a teacher who guides those who are trapped in material existence to something greater. She begins with joy and abundance, but does not stop there, ultimately leading the soul to God. Explore her deeper mysteries in my book Signs of life from the zodiacfor those who want to learn more about why Venus is such a remarkable and often underrated planet.
Soothes the influence on Saturn
Saturn will be moving through Pisces throughout this period, and if you’ve been feeling that heaviness, heaviness, crushing responsibility, tendency toward isolation, or quiet melancholy, the arrival of Venus will bring real relief. The ancient wisdom is clear. The antidote to Saturn is always Venus. Relationships, beauty, singing, music, good food, and dancing all help ease Saturn’s burden.
While Saturn in Pisces may be drawing you toward seriousness and deep introspection, Venus urges you to return to grace and warmth. This is not an excuse to abandon discipline. Saturn still requires you to work. But you can also work while listening to your favorite music, spending time with loved ones, or sharing a meal with friends. In fact, Venus and Saturn are great friends in Vedic astrology. Venus reminds Saturn that hard work must be accompanied by good interpersonal skills and cheerfulness, and Saturn reminds Venus that a little discipline balances sensual indulgence. In Pisces, these two planets come together to create a rare and productive polarity. Saturn will call us towards spiritual depth and responsibility, and Venus will call us towards love and beauty. And in the mysterious Fish sign, both end up pointing in the same direction.
Watch the Window: March 5-7
The period during which you should navigate carefully during this transit is from March 5th to 7th, when Venus will be conjunct both Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. This is a multi-layered and complex effect. Saturn’s heaviness and Neptune’s tendency towards dissolution and chaos converge with Venus’ warmth and love. On days like these, you may notice that your emotions feel more tender than usual, the lines in your relationships blur, or a kind of wistful longing arises that is difficult to name. A strong Neptune can obscure our distinctions and lead to escapism. And when conjunct Venus, you run the risk of idealizing relationships and situations, seeing things as you want them to be rather than what they actually are.
This is not a dangerous window, but it does require some gentle awareness. Especially on days like these, stay grounded in meditation and spiritual practices. Avoid making important relationship decisions or financial commitments while the fog is at its thickest. Don’t jump into action right away and let the emotions pass through you. By March 8th, this window will pass and Venus will continue its beautiful and largely trouble-free journey through Pisces.
How this transportation affects you by rising sign
Taurus rising: This will be one of the best windows for you this month. Venus as your Ascendant Lord transits your 11th house, bringing new friendships, fulfillment of desires, and strong income potential. Allow yourself to receive what comes your way.
Libra rising: Venus brings an overall pleasant vibe, but be careful about your health. They especially tend to indulge in sweets and sensual pleasures. With a little discipline, you can keep positive energy flowing without causing problems.
Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius rising: You will benefit from what is called transiting Malaviya Yoga, Venus exalted in an angular house from the Ascendant. This supports family, well-being and career at the same time. In March, you should feel that these four rising signs are noticeably supported in various areas of your life.
Aries rising: Be careful with your spending. Venus transiting your 12th house means spending may increase, and with Neptune joining you from March 5th to 7th, any impulsive or opaque financial decisions will be worth guarding against. Be intentional about your money this month.
Scorpio rising: Venus transits the 5th house, which rules children, creativity, and investing. Tensions and unexpected developments can occur in these areas. Observe carefully and avoid speculation during Neptune.
Let Venus do the work
Mercury retrograde continues until March 20th, meaning communications and plans will still be subject to revision and misunderstanding during the first two-thirds of this Venus transit. Use Venus’ beautiful energies for creative work, deepening relationships, rest, and artistic expression. However, refrain from signing any contracts or making any big promises until Mercury goes direct. Let the two energies complement each other. Venus creates warmth and inspiration. Once Mercury becomes direct, it helps you act on it clearly.
As always, every chart is unique. If you are running a Venus dasha or sub-period, or if Venus is natally placed in Pisces, this transit will feel especially alive and energizing.
The planets are not your enemies, they are your teachers. And now Venus is trying to teach us that beauty is attainable even in difficult times. Love flows even when Saturn is heavy and Mercury is chaotic. It is worth receiving.
