On Friday, March 14th, there will be a total lunar eclipse in 23 Virgos.
This solar eclipse is located near the South Node. In addition to the typical eclipse themes of instability, uncertainty and confusion, this eclipse will also highlight letting go, ending, and depletion.
This lunar eclipse on the South Node is about clearing and releasing.
You may get tired or spent. You may come to understand where you are a little mentally insane, or where your body has exceeded its limits.
I want to organize my closet, clean up my cupboards and basements, and generally simplify them. All of these are the themes of the full moon solar eclipse near the South Node.
I’ve recorded a recent podcast about how to work with the Virgo Lunar Eclipse. You can catch that episode You tube hereor listen through apple or Spotify.
There are three points about this eclipse.
- This is the first in a new two-year sequence for Southern Nord Ecripps in Virgo.
This means you can get fresh insight into where in your life you are ready to let go, and how ready to cleanse, detox and purify. Take a look at Virgo House topics on the charts to see where in life you are ready to make it easier. You can see new ideas, even about productivity and purpose in this field of life. If so, this means you need new routines and habits.
- The solar eclipse is controlled by mercury. Mercury is about to go backwards (from March 15th), so this eclipse asks you to look back before you move forward. You may need to deal with an unfinished business or establish a prolonged situation. It’s about organizing the old and dealing with the past, rather than revitalizing the new ones.
- Mercury is at 8th House locations related to the moon of the Virgo solar eclipse. This can emphasize 8th Home topics such as money, investments, taxes, retirement savings, mental health and your psychological state. It may not be surprising to see that you are ruled by Mercury (and Mercury is retrograde) that caring for your mindset and mental state is your number one priority. It could be breathing habits, time in nature, breaking away from technology/internet.
What topics are coming up for you around this lunar eclipse in Virgo? Can you see links to themes that are ready to explore and find new releases for the next two years?
