Moon: Trust the shadows

You don’t have all the answers yet. And that’s exactly what it should be. The moon is not about certainty. It is learning to see in the darkness and trust your instincts even if logic fails.

This week, things may not look like that. That text from the original? What is your gut feeling about new opportunities? Is it a real thing or a hopeful idea? Instead of chasing clarity, sit with the unknown. The truth reveals itself, but only if you let it do.

The symbolism of the moon

In traditional tarot images, the moon card features a moon glowing in the night sky, casting an eerie light on the winding path between the two towers. Representing both the wild and tamed parts of our spirit, wolves and dogs stand at the base surrounded by a base that shows the moon. In the water below, crayfish appear, and creatures of depth step into the unknown.

This card talks about the subconscious, illusions, and the hidden powers that shape our perceptions. The moon distorts reality, casts shadows in places that may be nothing, and separates truth from fantasy is a challenge.

This week, the owl will take over as your alternative guide. Just as the moon warns of illusion and half-truth, owls are masters of seeing through the darkness. It moves quietly throughout the night, its sharp vision cuts through uncertainty. If others see only the shadow shape, the owl is seen accurately. This is your job this week. Sharpen your instincts, guide your inner wisdom to you, and trust that what is invisible is as realistic as it is obvious purpose.

month

In the center of the card, the moon glows in the night sky, giving it an eerie glow over the landscape. This represents fantasy, intuition and subconscious. The changing light of the moon reminds us that reality is not necessarily what it looks like. Perception can be distorted, and the truth may be obscured by fear and wishful thinking.

lobster

Lobsters represent something that comes out of the water and rises from the depths of your subconscious. This represents the first step towards the unknown, facing hidden fear and embracing uncertainty. Lobster’s hardshell reminds us that emotional protection is necessary when navigating deep waters of intuition and mystery.

Wolves and dogs

Two creatures stand at the root of one wild and one tamed card. Wolves represent primitive and instinctive qualities, while domesticated dogs represent conditioned, trained minds. They show the inner conflict between following raw instincts and obeying the behaviors they have learned. Think about which voices within you are louder this week and whether it will guide you towards the truth.

Pillars

On either side of the path stands two towers or pillars, marking known and unknown site thresholds. They act as guardians of transformation. This reminds us that stepping into the unknown is a rite of passage. Passing between them means accepting uncertainty and trusting in your journey ahead.

spark

Surrounding the moon, golden sparks fall towards the earth, symbolizing the slow unraveling of divine inspiration and hidden truths. They remind us that the moon may cast illusions, but if we are patient enough to see them, it unveils deeper insights over time.

Your Space Compass of the Week

Monday – Wednuday: Fog gets caught

I’ve seen the wolves move all night. That’s you now. Mercury Conjunct Saturn says the facts are clear, but Mercury Conjunct Neptune whispers. If the story is not fully written yet, don’t rush to make a decision.

Your best move? Observe, listen and resist impulsively responding impulses. Not everything is visible.

Thursday to Friday: Fantasy Test

The Pisces New Moon will enhance your intuition, but Venus’ retrograde plays a mind game. Are you really seeing what’s there or what you want to believe? Let the answers become natural. Don’t force it.

Think of an owl: it will not chase every flicker of night movement. I wait, watch, and strike only when it takes a while. This is your moment when you sit in uncertainty and make the truth uncover.

Weekend: Open

The moment of truth arrives. What uncertainty did you sit with? That makes sense. Tough decisions, emotional turning points, or unexpected realizations – by Sunday, the fog will rise. Just as owls follow their instincts, not illusions, you should.

This is your clue to trust what you have learned in the darkness. The answer is here. So, what do you do with them?

What the moon wants you to know

  • Not everything is visible. Be skeptical of a simple answer.
  • Your intuition is stronger than you think. Listen to your part you see through the noise.
  • Mysteries are not something to fear. It’s something to explore. Sit in the unknown.
  • The truth will come when you’re ready. There’s no need to force it.

The moon reminds us that clarity is not necessarily immediate. Sometimes the best we can do is trust our journey, even when we can’t see our destination yet. Move forward by believing in yourself, not with certainty.
