Four planets converge in the sign of the mystic — what this means for you

Sun in Pisces: March 14th to April 13th | Venus in Pisces: Until March 25th | Mars in Pisces: April 2nd to May 11th | Mercury in Pisces: March 30th to April 29th

unusual gathering

Over the next few weeks, we will be going through one of the most intense Piscean periods in recent memory. of solar I have been in Pisces since March 14th. VenusThose exalted in Pisces will be here until March 25th. mercury It will enter Pisces on March 30th. and Mars He will participate in the rally on April 2nd and will stay until May 11th. That is, four planets (a real stellium in many ways) all swimming in the same oceanic waters of this profound and complex sign.

And underneath all of that, we’ve already been in Pisces since the beginning of 2025. Saturn — Now it will continue to burn until April 11th as the sun continues to burn nearby. Saturn in Pisces is already asking us to confront situations in which our spiritual lives have become too idealistic, too escapist, and too disconnected from practical responsibilities. The burn period adds weight and pressure to the lesson. So when I say that four more planets are arriving in this sign, I am describing something multi-layered and profound, a season with both remarkable spiritual possibilities and real psychological challenges.

I’m not a doomed astrologer. But I’m not going to pretend there was no weather either. Find out what each planet brings to the waters of the Sea of Fish. And let me explain why this season, properly understood, is truly one of the most fertile and transformative seasons of the year.

Understanding Pisces: More complicated than you think

Pisces is a popular sign in the spiritual community, and for good reason. Ruled by Jupiter and associated with Neptune in Western astrology, it embodies the deepest qualities of the 12th house, including the quest for liberation, the completion of old karma, and the soul’s desire to return to the divine ocean. The Sanskrit name Meena means fish. In the great body of Kala Purusha, Pisces rules the feet. And in the Vedic tradition, touching the Master’s feet is truly sacred. Because it represents the merging of the mortal into the mystical. This is a sign made for transcendence.

But here’s what I’ve observed over the years: Pisces people have deep pain behind their bright surface of joy. It’s rare to meet a Pisces person who doesn’t love you. Their generosity, intuition, and compassion are truly beautiful. However, if you dig deeper, you will find that there is a conflict. Two fish are circling each other, but the spiritual and physical worlds are not yet in perfect harmony. Pisces is the last rung of the ladder to heaven, and its razor-edge nature, the block to liberation, dark The Night of the Soul is embodied in this sign.

The Pisces shadow is a spiritual bypass. They use beautiful ideas, meditations, and mystical longings as an escape from the real world rather than as a means to engage more deeply with the practical real world. When a planet conjuncts Pisces, its shadow becomes a central test, especially when Saturn is already here, pressing for lessons in discipline and being grounded. Do we float above the world in a spiritual illusion? Or will they have the more difficult and richer task of connecting two fish?

Transiting planets: what each brings

  • Venus in Pisces (until March 25th): Venus is exalted here at 27 degrees Pisces. This is the highest dharma. For love to truly flow, it must be pure emotion, unclouded by Virgo’s critical mind. In Pisces, Venus is able to realize its deepest mystical qualities: love as devotion, beauty as a spiritual experience, relationships as a path to the divine. Venus here can be as powerful a guru as Jupiter. These last days of exalted Venus are a real gift. Use it to deepen your intimacy and open yourself unconditionally to creative work.
  • Sun in Pisces (March 14th – April 13th): I call the Sun the Achilles heel for Pisces. It offers lessons in humility and shines a light on where ego, pride, and authority create friction. Problems with relationships with fathers, bosses, and authority figures may surface. The Sun in Pisces is also the trigger that illuminates the combustible Saturn below. The exact conjunction of the Sun and Saturn will occur on March 25th, but I have written about this separately. This is where the most pressure will be this season.
  • Mercury in Pisces (March 30th – April 29th): Mercury is debilitated here. The analytical, logical mind is swimming in water for which Mercury was not designed. Ambiguous thinking, misunderstandings, and financial carelessness can occur. But Mercury in Pisces also brings gifts such as intuition, creative insight, and the ability to fumble through problems rather than think them through. Great writing and poetry are born here. The key is to work with intuition as the first draft and logic as the editor.
  • Mars in Pisces (April 2nd – May 11th): There is a bright light in this transit constellation. In fact, Mars is considered the best planet for Pisces in Vedic astrology. Mars owns the 2nd and 9th houses from Pisces, connecting family, finances, and a deeply religious and mystical life. Scorpio’s ownership of the 9th house draws the energy of Mars in Pisces into deep occult and spiritual realms. Mars’ arrival in April brings courage, drive, and what the mystical path actually requires: discipline, effort, and the willingness of a spiritual warrior to show up. This is the antidote to spiritual bypassing.

Saturn Background: Where the Pressure Exists

Saturn has been in Pisces since early 2025, and its lesson for all of us is the same that Pisces always poses: Can we integrate the spiritual and the material, rather than fleeing to one at the expense of the other? Saturn says, “Do your job.” Pisces says: Surrender and trust. The tension between these two commands is that’s right What this season demands of us.

That pressure will increase with Saturn’s combust until April 11th. Confidence is low, authority figures can be difficult, responsibilities can feel heavier than usual, and you can be tempted to daydream or avoid. I wrote more about this in this week’s Saturn Combust article. What I would like to add here is that when four more planets pass through the same sign as combustible Saturn, the invitation to spiritual bypass increases. The fog is getting thicker. Pisces’ dreamy, escapist charm will become even stronger.

That’s exactly why Mars’ arrival in April is so important. Mars in Pisces is a spiritual warrior who walks through the fog and does the job anyway.

How to spend this season

  • Now let Venus do her job. Until March 25th, exalted Venus is the most beautiful energy in the sky. Please be open minded. Let’s make something. Deepen your relationships. Now is not the time to shy away from love and beauty.
  • Be honest about spiritual bypassing. The temptation to overcome difficulties rather than engage with spiritual ideas is amplified during this season. Be aware of whether you are using meditation, positive thinking, or mystical thinking to avoid conversations, decisions, or responsibilities. Bypass is a shadow. Select engagement.
  • Protect your finances and communications. With Mercury debilitated in Pisces from March 30th, read contracts carefully, double-check financial decisions, and follow up on important communications to confirm understanding.
  • Serve someone: This is the most reliable treatment for Pisces. The key to this sign is service, and service is also the key to the 12th house. When our hands are busy helping others, our hearts are filled, the fog lifts, and the two fish begin to swim in the same direction.
  • Welcome Mars in April. The seasons change when Mars enters Pisces on April 2nd. That spiritual warrior energy, disciplined, courageous, and willing to commit to the mystical path with serious effort is your ally until May 11th. Please use it.
  • Meditate and then act. Regular meditation is the most powerful support for the Pisces period. The calm beneath the fog is real and familiar. But Pisces also needs the grounding that comes from purposeful action. Meditate and then move.

the river knows where it’s going

I have been observing planetary cycles for nearly 40 years, and I would like to share with you what I truly believe. It means that the season that demands the most from us is the season that gives us the most. Pisces season 2026 is not a season to fear, with layered transits and a combustible Saturn in the background. It’s the season to open your eyes and meet new people.

Individual rivers returning to the sacred sea are the symbol of Pisces. Instead of losing yourself, you discover something bigger. Rather than running away from the world, we recognize that the spiritual and material are not opposing things that we have to choose between, but rather that they are one reality that we must live fully. The two fish are constantly circling towards each other. This season asks if we’re finally ready to have them meet.

Venus exalted in Pisces shows us what love looks like when it is truly free. Mars, arriving in April, is here to show us what spiritual courage really looks like. And even the pressure of Saturn, the weight of combustion on this sign, the teacher asks us to do the work of making the mysterious real. The planet is not punishing you. They are preparing you. And in my experience, working honestly to get through seasons like this deepens something inside of you permanently. that That’s what Pisces can really offer at their best.
