Mid-week will see a new moon in Pisces, the first in a series of celestial changes until mid-March, signaling a reset and a chance to finally get moving.
The New Moon will occur at 28 degrees Pisces on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on where you are. It forms an active sextile with Uranus in Taurus, which helps to energize it. It may also help you get out of a stuck situation.
The ruler of the new moon in Pisces is Jupiter, which has recently been placed directly in Cancer. This adds more weight to the theme of moving forward, and may help you get started on major plans that have been stalled since November 2025, when Jupiter went retrograde.
Immediately after the New Moon, Mercury will be placed direct on Friday, March 20th, and the Sun will move into Aries.
The end of Mercury Retrograde can help you sort out a confusing situation, and the days that follow in the direction of Mercury Station may allow you to clarify missing information, finalize delayed decisions, or resubmit necessary documents.
As the Sun moves into Aries, it activates the Vernal Equinox, classically associated with seasons of rebirth and renewal. This is an astrological harbinger of the new year and the perfect time to start planning for the next 12 months.
The four weeks starting March 20th may bring enthusiasm and drive towards new projects and goals.
Next month, with Saturn in Aries, may be pivotal in visualizing major organizational restructuring and clarifying the goals that will guide you over the next two years, as the Sun rotates through Aries with Saturn and Neptune.
As we reach the middle of March, there are many astrological omens that suggest starting over or starting over will be fruitful. Between the new moon and direct Jupiter, it’s a time to take a leap of faith.
What are you ready to start or restart in your life? Is there a big move you’re ready to make moving forward?
