Main dates (Chicago CDT): Mars enters sidereal Pisces on April 2nd. Mars will be exactly conjunct Neptune on April 13th, deep in the Uttara-Bhadrapada Nakshatra, around 8 degrees Pisces. Saturn is located a few degrees ahead at about 12 degrees Pisces, also in Uttara Bhadrapada. Jupiter will remain at around 22 degrees Gemini.
I urge you to prepare for a transit that seeks stillness over movement. On April 13, Mars will capture Neptune in the depths of Uttara Bhadrapada, just before Saturn will be waiting on the couch like a patient elder who has seen this movie before. in find blind spots I wrote that Saturn’s energy manifests most strongly through its own Nakshatras, Pushya, Anuradha, and Uttara Bhadrapada, “especially when Mars conjuncts Saturn in the coming weeks.” That window is now.
Uttara Bhadrapada is a deep-sea Nakshatra ruled by the deep-sea serpent, Ahir Budhnya. Mars here is already unpleasant. That fire seeks traction and Pisces gives it water. Add Neptune, the planet of dissolution, fog, and escapism, and the fire starts to hiss and smoke. Pada 2 of Uttara Bhadrapada falls under Cancer Navamsa, Water of Waters, doubling down on the theme of dissolution. You may find yourself feeling exhausted, distracted, or strangely unsure of a decision you thought you made last week without knowing why.
This is not a transit to stand up, confront, or get through. Mars is about to charge, but Neptune blurs the windshield. Combine that with Saturn’s slow, calm gaze a few degrees ahead and you have clear direction from above. From April 9th to April 17th, slow down, be clear, and avoid acting impulsively. If something feels urgent, take a second nap. If someone provokes you, remember that fire does not put out fire. Any Mars energy that tries to react will only create a fog of its own making.

Who feels this most?
The rising signs of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, and Sagittarius feel this directly through their angular houses. People running the dasha of Mars, Saturn and Rahu should move carefully. If your natal moon is in Uttara Bhadrapada, Pushya, or Anuradha, expect vivid dreams and a tide of emotions that you want to witness rather than fix.
What helps?
Meditation is the anchor. When the water rises, the only ground you can rely on is the stillness that grows within you. Stabilize your sleep schedule by adding grounding movements, walking, chair pose, and slow yoga. Avoid alcohol and other clouding sources during this period. Neptune doesn’t need help. Handle important communications in the morning and give yourself permission to do less. Saturn rewards patience here, and waiting is work in itself.
Remember, if we practice consistently, we are more powerful than the planet. This transit will pass. What you have built in these two weeks through discipline, steady breathing, unhurried decisions, and unspoken reactions will serve as fuel for the rest of the year.
