Astro-Weather: Some Positives into the Weekend

I’ve been writing a lot lately about Saturn’s demands, eclipse pressures, and heavier flows in 2026. So, let me take a breath and focus my attention on the really good stuff. Because the sky offers us beautiful blessings from March 5th to 9th. Because I don’t want you to miss it.

March 5th — Sun trine Jupiter (Aquarius/Gemini): Dharma and Grace

This week begins with one of my favorite arrays. That is, the Sun in Aquarius forms a trine with Jupiter in Gemini. When the soul (Sun) and Guru (Jupiter) flow in harmony, something opens up. Increases confidence. Your judgment will be sharpened. The kind of effort that usually yields modest results suddenly seems to put some extra wind in your sails.

I think of this as a moment of “divine succession,” a window where your natural abilities align with a greater spiritual underpinning. If you’ve been waiting to reach out to a mentor, pitch an idea, or just start something you’ve been putting off, this is your green light. Jupiter rules wisdom, expansion, and good fortune, and when Jupiter aligns with the Sun, those qualities become available to all of us. Please use it. Please join the meeting. I’ll make a call. The planet is with you.

March 7th — Venus and Neptune (Pisces) conjunction: Romantic fog

There’s a lot going on from here. Venus is exalted in Pisces. This is her most exalted expression, where she discovers the divine beauty in artistic expression and the beauty of life itself. Next, add Neptune. Its influence dissolves boundaries and fills the air with something ethereal, misty, and romantic.

This is a peak period for artists, musicians, poets and dreamers. Creative waters run deep and warm. If you want to engage in something expressive or simply make time for beauty, whether it’s music, candlelight, or meaningful conversation, do it this weekend.

One thing I would like to note is that Neptune’s waters can carry illusions. You may find yourself falling in love with feelings, ideas, or versions of someone who live more in your imagination than in reality. There’s nothing wrong with experiencing the magic. Just keep one foot on the ground. Enjoy the poem. Don’t sign a contract while you’re still dreaming.

March 8th — Venus and Saturn (Pisces) conjunction: Quality over brilliance

The very next day, Venus meets Saturn, still in Pisces. I love this sequence because it captures the romantic softness of Venus and Neptune while asking the serious question, “Is this real?” Is this built to last?

In fact, Venus and Saturn are great friends in Vedic astrology. Saturn wants Venus to remind her that discipline without relationship is empty. Venus needs Saturn to remind her that love without structure often dies. There is real opportunity here as they meet in the exalted sign of Venus. Not a wild celebration, but something much more meaningful: dedication, honest conversation, and the quiet joy of sharing a meal with someone you truly trust.

If the relationship is undefined, this is a natural moment for clarity. If your creative project needs structure and an actual plan behind it, this is the time to sit down and build it. It may not feel as exciting as the dreamy Venus and Neptune energy of the previous day, but the foundation you are building now is what is actually holding.

March 9th — Mercury trine Jupiter (Aquarius/Gemini): A meeting of the heart and wisdom.

Mercury in Aquarius trines Jupiter in Gemini. Both Air signs are ruled by intelligence, and both are oriented toward communication and discovery. Mercury rules the mind, the discerning intellect that seeks to understand learning, writing, speech, and our place in the universe. Jupiter rules wisdom, expansion, and higher purpose. When these two flow together in trine, the mind not only thinks clearly but also thinks wisely.

Barry’s material reminds us that when Mercury conjuncts Jupiter, Mercury’s higher nature comes to the fore. Chess masters become philosophers. Communicators become teachers. This is a peak time for writing, having important conversations, and presenting ideas you’ve been refining. If you’ve been working on a proposal, letter, or creative piece, now is the moment to share it with the world.

There’s also something quietly beautiful about this weekend’s arc resolution. It begins with the Sun and Jupiter expanding our confidence, progressing through Venus’ deep Pisces waters, and now ends with Mercury and Jupiter inviting us to articulate what we’ve experienced. Think clearly. Please be honest. Please write it down. The heart, at its best, is a gift.

big picture

The week begins with divine confidence (Sun and Jupiter trine), flows into a romantic and creative peak (Venus conjunct Neptune), settles into meaningful endeavors (Venus conjunct Saturn), and ends with wise thinking (Mercury and Jupiter trine). It’s a really great arc. Please feel free to use it.

If we understand the message, God will always take care of us. This week’s message is clear. Move forward, create beauty, work on what matters, and be courageous. The sky is offering you a gift. Please take it.
