ASTRO WEATHER AUGUST 9-15TH AND DEALING WITH EMOTIONAL GRUNGE

There are still many challenges on the star this week, but some of the intensity is beginning to brighten. Mercury will improve directly on August 11th, and Mars is not opposed to Saturn, so indecision, blocking and delays will begin to be easier. Venus’s combined Jupiter stretches mood, but can also lead to excessive optimism and overexpenditure.

On the bright side, Jupiter moved to the constellation of Punarbus (Gemini 20° – Cancer 3°20′) on August 13th and will remain there until June 18th, 2026 due to retrograde movement. Punarvasu is considered the most auspicious of Jupiter’s Nakshatras, carrying the energy of cultivation and recovery. A future update will look into this in more detail.

On a more challenging side, the most intense effect will fade by August 17th when the sun passes through the Gandanta Zone (Cancer 27° – Leo 3°) on August 14th-19th and the sun enters the Leo fully. This period can stir up issues relating to power, self-esteem and self-confidence.

Mars supports strategic thinking and planning, but is less favorable for athletic ability, but enters the constellations of Hasta (Virgo 10°-23°30′). As the moon rules the hasta and Mars is weakened with cancer, this arrangement can lead to emotional fatigue and a tendency to dismantle.

Still, “the big elephant in the room” remains a retrograde Saturn combined Neptune. Saturn will remain retrograde until November 27th and remain near Neptune until October. Retrograde Saturn can often amplify feelings of suffering and pose health challenges, but it acts like a strict high school coach.

This transport affects people who are accommodations in Taurus, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces, especially those with Saturn with a reversal of 2 degrees of birth. In the birth chart, retrograde Saturn often points to neglected responsibility. The house it occupies reveals where these lessons occur. For example, retrograde Saturn in the second house may teach you a lesson about family savings, food and care. Ultimately, Saturn Retrograde pushes us to be honest with ourselves, release fantasies and take responsibility for things that aren’t working.

Retrograde planets are brighter and closer to Earth, turning their effects inwards. They can lead to deep introspection, focusing on the past – disappointment, struggle, and wounds. The forward movement feels blocked, but the return is also not appealing. Retrograde Saturn, for example, may lead someone to reflect on spirituality in depth, but in a reflexive way, rather than an active, practice-oriented way.

Meanwhile, in the world around us, the media is terrified of us. The prediction of World War I, the loss of democracy, the national sector, and the economic collapse. Some of this is “smoke and mirrors,” but it is worth noting that the peace agreement historically occurred under the union of Jupiter and Bebe. It remains to be seen whether current European leaders will allow such opportunities.

With such intense group anxiety, the temptation is to be paralyzed, such as alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, or a comfortable diet. Spiritual seekers may monitor Netflix and over-pass on food. But these are short-term escapes that ultimately separate us from our deepest beings.

Why are we so afraid of emotions? They forget that they are temporary and constantly changing. Through meditation and yoga, we can learn to witness our minds and release ourselves from being controlled by passing on our moods. The spiritual path calls us to feel the fullness of our emotions. Because they feel they will consciously promote their liberation.

Ask yourself: Am I my feelings or is it much bigger? The waves begin to calm down as you bring the full light of consciousness into the emotional turbulence. Remember: You are not just the waves – you are the ocean too.

Like the classic Herman Melville Billy Bad, dress in a mast and ride the storm. Whatever comes, let it pass you through. No matter how intense your emotions are, you cannot reduce your eternal self. The storm deepens and strengthens us. I accept them. Merge with water and remember teeth water.

If you’re not fully on the storm, here are some grounded steps to support you:

  1. Continue to maintain discipline in mental practice. Keep up with meditation, yoga and other uplifting habits. The trend is to abandon these when challenges arise, but it’s like taking off your winter coat in below zero weather.

  2. I will serve others. Donate your time and resources. Service reduces our burden and shifts us from self-absorption.

  3. Maintain a healthy routine. Do not use food, substances, or inactivity to hide difficult emotions. Consistent exercise, a balanced diet and a good rest are essential now. Skip the overnight streaming bins. Rest offers better service.

  4. They seek uplifting companies and knowledge. Join spiritual gatherings, study inspiring textbooks, and surround yourself with positive influences.

  5. We do a transformative and healing job. Deal with and deal with deeper energy during play.

Energy may be slightly brighter after August 5th, but once Saturn moves to Ariesnabamsha from August 19th to October 3rd, anxiety can rise again.
