Let’s get into it.

Besides that it’s my birthday month, it’s also fashion month. The runway is illuminated, fashion people are set from jets From New York to Parisand our feed is filled with a “diverse” lineup and celebration campaign.

But we can still talk about how much it feels… Hollow? We’re talking about plus size fashion inclusion. all.

While the world of fashion is patting the back Expression, We see the same pattern playing on plus size bodies.

Here is a size 14 model. The moment in the front row curated there. A single extended size sample made for one shoot – and then Poof is gone.

Let’s be real. That alone is not enough.

After “Fat Girls in Fendi” opened up a conversation about plus-sized body access, we take a step back *really* look at plus-sized fashion still It’s wrong. Not only haute couture, Crossing board.

We were here before

Every September, it’s the same dance. The brand will simply throw bones long enough to ride the PR wave of Fashion Week and return to business as usual by October. And every year fat people are asked: This is all Do we know?

answer? There’s no more.

This is because the visibility without actual access is not progressive. It’s performance. Seriously… where is the true plus size fashion inclusion?

Tokenism ≠ Included

Having one plus size model in the show isn’t a victory you think. Especially if the clothes don’t pass 16 or 18 if we’re really for you. Or if the fat influencer is in the front row in the presentation but is unable to actually see and shop. It is not inclusion. It’s talkism.

We see it. And we’re calling it.

When we talk about plus size fashion inclusion, we’re not just talking about who you are show…We’re talking about the person you design. The person you cast. The person you hire behind the scenes. Who do you pay? Someone who really thinks of fashion consumers.

Inclusion means providing consistent size. Thoughtful fit. Fat stylist. Fat Editor. Fat designer. It’s not just the “moment” of press releases. a Movement How do you work?

Fat fashion is worth investing, not just hype

Don’t forget: We have built an entire ecosystem around plus-size styles. For years, it was the only way to influence change and everything we could do. And while some brands are finally “catching up”, they still lack the mark when it comes to long-term investments in our community.

This is not about optics. This is about infrastructure.

I want to see the brand doing it Authentic work:
We offer more than three times the full size range.
Invest in appropriate fits across these sizes.
Features of puls plus bodies all Not only the 14 seconds of an hourglass, but also the shape, color and size.
Hireming a plus size expert to support these efforts.

Plus-size fashion is not a seasonal storyline, so it’s a billion dollar opportunity all year round. The question is, are you taking us seriously?

What’s next for plus size fashion?

Entering another round of Fashion Month, a curvy fashionista watches. I’m going to track who’s going for a walk and Who is still stuck in the performance cycle.

Because we’re not here to become tokens. I’m here to shift the table.

Fat fashion is real fashion. Fat shoppers are real consumers. and fat vision None access? That’s not enough… there’s no more.

Poems as mentioned above, shout to brands who are consistent in displaying plus size models on the runway!
