Born and raised in Chicago, Tiara Peach’s journey into fashion began early, influenced by her mother and grandmother who taught the art of quilting. Peach was always destined for design, as he packed his doll clothes as a child and attended Columbia and Harper University in Illinois for fashion marketing and merchandising. However, when she first pursued beauty school and became a travel makeup artist, her path took an unexpected turn. She once told me, “You’re like a furry godfather.” And the name is just stuck. ” Now, Peach uses her brand to empower women through her work that makes statements that are as unique as women wearing them. “The best customers are black women. It’s one of them actually doing it. Support your own people. They are trying to cater to all kinds of black women. We are lively. We love being creative and different. ”

Her signature designs include neon cropped kiki furs, candy cane pants and red denim with fox swirls. Each piece is made with detailed details and a personal touch of peach. “I’ll make it for myself first, then I’ll do it for everyone else,” she says with a laugh. Is her favorite? A stunning leopard gown with fur trim that exudes luxury and drama.

Peach’s design process is far from traditional. She draws inspiration everywhere — shopping, streetwear, and even existing pieces she rethinks. “I looked at something and said, ‘Hmm, how does that look with fur there?’”Whether you’re adding fur trim to your denim, mixing textures, or designing from scratch, her approach is innovative and personal. “Fur is not as easy as you think. You need to stretch it out, nail it to the board and cut it with a special tool. It’s a completely different process, as it’s the skin, not the fabric. ”
