Fall may still be a few weeks away from officially beginning, but actor Sydney Sweeney is getting in on the season’s trends early this year. Pairing summer’s chicest shorts with the boot trend predicted to be everywhere next month, Sweeney created an easy ensemble that provides endless inspiration for my wardrobe, no matter the season.
Sweeney wore a white shirt tucked in and matching white denim shorts for a relaxed look with a polished edge, and in keeping with fall trends, eschewing sandals or ballet flats altogether, teaming up with knee-length brown leather boots to complete the casual look.

While Sweeney may have jumped on the trend before the rest of us (I’m not ready to say goodbye to open-toed shoes just yet), it won’t be long before we all own these boots. Showing up on countless runway shows for Fall/Winter 2024, including Chloé’s fan-favorite collection in February, brown boots are shaping up to be a favorite this season.
