The Fashion Scholarship Foundation celebrated its 2026 FSF Scholars and Virgil Abloh “Postmodern” Scholars at FSF LIVE, the organization’s 89th annual gala, held at the Glass House in New York City. A total of 160 students from 75 universities were awarded more than $1.9 million in scholarships in recognition of their potential to shape the future of fashion across creative, business and marketing fields.
The evening, hosted by Gabriela Karefa-Johnson, honored Law Roach, Ciara and Russell Wilson, PVH CEO Stefan Larson, and recognized Travis Scott for his continued support through the Cactus Jack Foundation.

Ciara attended the gala with Russell Wilson and their children, Future and Sienna, who wore a Willy Chavarria look that reflected the designer’s structured tailoring.

The family introduced Ciara and Wilson during the evening, highlighting the honorees’ contributions to fashion, philanthropy, and culture.
Jerry Lorenzo spoke about naming PVH CEO Stefan Larson as a mentor in his career. “Be honest about everything and be who you are.” he said, and that advice continues to guide him and that he still passes on to emerging designers who are leading the way in the industry.
Christian Siriano reflected on his role as a leader and why it’s important to show up for the next generation. “That’s why I’m here. Without the younger generation, we have nothing.He also talked about his design philosophy:I have always tried to dress women of different shapes, sizes, shapes, and cultures. I don’t really care, I just want to make you feel great. ”
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson wore a self-portrait look to the Fashion Scholarship Foundation Gala, where she was honored for her contributions to the fashion industry and continued support of up-and-coming talent. Addressing aspiring creators, she encouraged the next generation to stay true to themselves and move the industry forward, saying, “You may not feel like you fit in sometimes, but what fashion needs most are people who don’t fit in.”
June Ambrose emphasized the importance of discovering new talent and staying connected. “I’m looking! This organization is great at bringing together groups of great up-and-coming designers,” she said, emphasizing FSF’s role as a pipeline to future industry leaders.

The night also spotlighted the FSF Chairman’s Award, with finalists’ presentations focusing on cross-industry collaboration. The $25,000 prize, presented by Amanda Smith and Raul Lopez, was awarded to Quan Jackson. Prior to the gala, scholars participated in a series of immersive experiences across New York City, including a panel discussion at PVH’s Calvin Klein headquarters, a discussion at WWD, and programming at LVMH Tower, providing direct access to industry leaders and insight into the business of fashion.
