The singer, songwriter, producer and actress, who has become known for making fashion statements over the years, appeared in formal attire. dressed in black and white tom brown In the ensemble, we couldn’t take our eyes off Badu, whose face was studded with jewels.
Her dynamic headpiece, featuring a variety of crystals including malachite, onyx and rose quartz, reminded us of exactly why she is a worthy recipient of such a prestigious award.
Outkast member Andriy 3000, Badu and his child’s name is Seven, presented the CFDA award to the legendary artists.
He expressed it like this. “Erica effortlessly expresses herself and her unique perspective through the clothes she chooses to wear…and every look she envisions is very individual and true to herself.”
In addition to Erykah Badu winning the award, other honorees that night included Michael Kors, Daniel Roseberry, and Isabel Toledo.

Guvanch’s JT
JT, a former City Girls member turned solo artist, was in his prime and was glowing at the CFDA Awards. Known for thinking outside the box and shaking up the most avant-garde designers, she chose Guvanch. Edgy, with buckles wrapped from her bust to her ankles, she looked like a bad A$$.
Lala from Jacquemus
Lala looked like the queen of the jungle in a zebra-print Jacquemus dress that cascaded casually off her shoulders. Her polka-dot calfskin pumps added a nice contrast to the ensemble. As for accessories, she layered with statement earrings and a choker necklace, and wore a black headband that showed off her fierce beats.
Vera Wang’s Ciara
Leave it to Ciara to turn heads all night long with her modern and pleasing black and white Vera Wang look. Her skirt, folded at the hips, was on trend, and her platform boots were the perfect shoe candy.
Kate Burton’s Winnie Harlow
Winnie Harlow looked incredibly regal in a Kate Burton dress that gave it a fairytale feel. Has anyone mentioned Cinderella or Snow White? The models who know how to stun the runway did not disappoint, and the theatrics were on full display.
Laquan Smith Teyana Taylor
She is a chameleon in the entertainment and fashion world and her name is Teyana Taylor (As if I didn’t already know.) Taylor chose a sexy black Laquan Smith bodycon dress with side cutouts. We got a chance to see her dancer’s body in action, and if anyone stole the show, it was definitely her in this hot number.

Another attention-grabber on the carpet was Victoria Monet, who opted for a black Laquan Smith dress. Judging by the amazing looks she’s shown this year alone, we think it’s safe to say she can pull off anything. Absolutely exquisite!

We all know that Paris Hilton and her family love Oscar de la Renta dresses, and that’s exactly what she wore on her special night. She appeared wearing a perfectly tailored red 3D floral mini dress. Even after all these years, Hilton still has the spark that makes her an icon in the fashion world.
Simkhai Angel Wreath
All white has never looked better and Angel Reese looked like an angel at the CFDA Awards. She was the epitome of royalty in a white halter-style dress by designer Simkhai and a white fur coat. Her platinum blonde hair is a nice touch and we love how she added contrast with her maroon heels. Talk about confidence!

We all know that Kylie Jenner isn’t afraid to take risks, and that’s something to be admired in this industry. At the CFDA Awards, the youngest Kardashian sister looked spiky in a black Jean Paul Gaultier dress. We love the play with textures, and from her hair to her shoes, her ensemble was impressive.
