Chef, creator, dinner club host Xanthe Ross He grew up in North Wales and is currently based in London. She brings country knowledge and inspiration to the city in her work. Xanthe works with a wide range of fashion and life still brands, including Uniqlo, Jcrew, San Pellegrino and Mutti Pomodoro, and cooks at several events for Cesane, Liberty, and Gunni. With a deep passion for travel, fashion and food, Xanthe seamlessly blends these influences to create unique and enchanting content.

What is the best restaurant in the world to visit? And what do you order?

ChezPanisse In California, it has been one of the most influential restaurants for food sustainability over the past 50 years.

When you want to be impressed, what kind of food do you cook?

I love to make homemade pizza because I love playing with dough and it always feels like it impresses people.

What’s your go-to dish for a last minute dinner?

Perhaps tomato pasta, again very simple, but by cooking slowly and carefully, it can really enhance its flavor and ultimately become impressive.

What is your choice of takeaway?

Always ramen, always. I love Canada.

What are the three things you always have in your fridge/freezer/store cupboard?

Refrigerator: Parmesan, Freezer: Peas, Shop cupboard: Bean jar

What is your Dessert Island menu?

It’s always changing, but now it’s this – Starting Pasta Alla Norma is a Sicilian pasta dish made with tomatoes and obergin. Next is steak, chips and salad. Pudding, chocolate mousse or good tiramisu.

Is there anything in your home that makes you particularly emotional?

Lots of stuff! I’m a very sentimental person. I keep all the menus of every dinner club I’ve done. This is really nice to remind you of how far you’ve come from the beginning.

Do you think we’re always hiding at the bottom of your handbag?

Lip balm and hand cream always.

Who will fill your proverb cup?

I’m lucky to have some amazing friends, family and husbands who fill my cups in many ways.

If you could only have one vacation in one place for the rest of your life, where would it be?

France’s countryside!

If someone says “it’s such a Xanthe” item/trend/look, what do you think they’re referring to?

Great question. I think I’m always drawn to playing The pastel colors will probably include some of them, and then include dungarees and smooth back bread.

Which artwork will make you feel all about? And do you remember when you first saw it?

The first piece of art I bought for myself was a picture of a horse from a friend’s incredible website. I find it strange.

Are there any jewelry items that have many meanings?

my The engagement ring was very careful not only because it was beautiful, but my husband chose it and made it.

What do you like to do when you’re bored?

I love reading every day as much as I can, walking the first thing my dog does and doing yoga as much as I can.

Are there any secret date night spots?

Eat Tokyo is perfect for casual date nights and we always come back.

Which items of clothing do you want to let go? And why?

I’m trying to collect tourist t-shirts wherever I go, so I won’t let them go because they’re sentimental.

As you may already be guessing, my comfortable food is definitely pasta!

What is your favorite scent?

ffern perfume Have a wonderful seasonal scent. I also love the darkness Byred The perfume I believe in is oil-based.

If so, would you collect something?

As I said before, I’m lucky enough to collect tourist magnets and T-shirts as I said.

What is your latest obsession?

Whether it’s burning the first one, a good candle anywhere, or an oil diffuser at night, I’m really into the smell at my house right now.

Which brand do you like the most?

Hard questions – because so many incredible brands do so many incredible things! I think Flamingo Estate It is one of the coolest brands in many ways right now, doing incredible things and inspiring many others.

What are your three favorite brands / You can only wear three brands for the rest of your life, what are they?

Coffee and wine, always.

I sit in the bath as much as I can.

Certainly my mother, she is incredible. It doesn’t stop and I don’t complain.
