Watching fashion unfold in real time is endlessly appealing and nothing too exciting on the streets of London. Every summer, our team achieves one simple goal. It’s about capturing the best outfits in town. Certainly, I wasn’t the kind of person who pounds the pavement for this particular shoot. It was a tribute to one of our colleagues, our street style photographer, but I spent plenty of time praised their efforts to feel like I’m with them.
This outing marked the first street style shoot of the season. I’m happy to report that it’s just the beginning. However, this time we focused the lens on the heart of the iconic stretching heartbeat of the London shopping scene, Oxford and Regent Streets. It’s a busy hub at any time of the year, but when the summer sun shines it became a runway in itself. And let me tell you, the looks didn’t disappoint.
The fashion mood was refreshingly relaxed, but still refined. Trendy trainers have seen them paired with everything from float skirts to crisp white pants (I noticed that summer favourites were popping up over and over). Cool Bermuda shorts were also common, but the elegant dresses offered something refined. Overall feeling? It’s refreshing, wearable, and undoubtedly stylish.
London always offers when it comes to street style, but this outing was particularly enjoyable. Perhaps it’s light to be a long day, or the freedom to wear clothes for warm weather. Either way, it has become some seriously amazing costume spotting.
