Today I want to tell you about a brand I love, which happens to be owned and run by two of my friends, both of whom are not only incredibly creative but also incredibly kind. I was introduced to Lizzie and Katherine Fortunado through my good friend Stacey Smallwood, who owns Hampden Clothing. Hampden has supported Lizzie and her jewelry line for many years, and it has been so much fun watching the brand grow and evolve since I was introduced to them so many years ago. Each season they create high quality pieces that are unique, yet easy to wear, and I am excited to share this world with you all. Lizzie Fortunado Jewelry!
About Lizzy Fortunado Jewelry
Lizzy Fortunado was founded by Lizzy in 2008. Her twin sister, Catherine, invested in the brand a few years later in 2010 and that’s the only funding the brand has ever received. Over the years they’ve expanded their offerings to include jewelry, handbags, belts, scarves and even home goods. They have a fantastic studio in Soho, New York where you can read more about their story and the deep passion they have for what they do. here.
I’m always impressed by how thoughtful they are about the materials they use and the craftsmanship of their work, as well as how committed they are to growing their business. Their work speaks for itself. I believe part of their success is in their storytelling and their deep, authentic connections with other women in the industry. To know them is to love them!
Lizzy Fortunado Classics
The brand doesn’t tend to follow trends, and many of their pieces are made to be mixed and matched season after season. While each drop brings more editorial pieces, they always have a good selection of everyday jewelry. Take a look at some of my favorite Lizzie Fortunado jewelry pieces and how to style them.
