Ode to La Ligne Marine SweaterThis style has been a favorite of mine for years. So much so that I’m writing a post about it in the middle of summer. Being a lover of stripes, this style caught my eye a few years ago. When I first purchased it, I was hooked.
What I like about marine sweaters
What’s so great about this sweater? Marine This sweater is a 7-ply wool cashmere blend that’s incredibly soft and feels rich. The thicker gauge gives the sweater a bit of weight, and I love the thicker ribbing on the crew neck and cuffs.
The fit is great. It’s a little oversized and a little long, but not too tight. The cuffs fit snugly and it’s easy to roll up the sleeves. The crew neck fits snugly around the neck, so it doesn’t feel like it’s being squeezed. Lastly, I love the cleverly designed stripe layout and the unique color combination. Currently, Marine’s 11 Combo It’s a perfect mix of timeless combinations and unexpected editorial hues. Bonus point: you can also create a monogram with this style!
