Designer Jessica Rich is back with her FW25 Collectionwas called Power Dropand it’s her boldest, most intentional release. Known for creating sexy footwear with a gorgeous edge and no apology, Rich returns her brand to its roots. Release shoes one by one to get the spotlight that is appropriate for each pair.
“We initially released shoes at once, but we put a lot of energy into telling stories around each pair, and our customers really led to that,” says Rich. “Later, I started releasing six, seven, eight styles at a time, but some didn’t get promoted properly.
Among the most impressive releases Empire Bootblack leather boots with sharp white pointed toes. Filmed in sophisticated studio backgrounds and lively streets at night, the boots are commander and versatile.
“I wasn’t really a boot girl,” admits Rich. “I always had thick calves, and in the past it didn’t look like the boots were promoted on me. But I love boots and know what my clients were released before they sold out. So I thought, the runway, but it’s also made for everyday women who want to enter and own any room.”
This collection is also guided by the use of Rich signature signatures. Soho Pump silver. Shotted against a flooded background, the pump embodies the charm and versatility of the future.
“My collection doesn’t actually use metal fabrics. What you’re looking at is the finish of silver and gold mirrors. Metallic is a more sparkly material. This is different. But gold and silver always stand out in everything. They represent strength and sparkle.
The FW25 Power Drop is released in two phases.
“Drop One comes in five styles each designed to stand on its own. My signature gold and silver, patent leather, leather and mesh are displayed in a new print. Drop 2 is even more luxurious material, bolder texture, more decoration, more prints, and another staple pump that every woman needs for the collection. Drop is everything.”
Rich emphasizes that her brand doesn’t follow trends – it sets them.
“I’m not really following the trends, and honestly, I’m used to setting them up.” she says. “If I’m too focused on the heat at the moment, leaving my mind behind and following my heart will take me here.
