The Musée Rodin air was electricity with a new kind of energy for Dior’s SS26 presentation. Even the legendary Johnny Depp and Rick Owens make surprise appearances under the careful eyes of the star’s front row, including the distinctive Anya Taylor Joy, the effortlessly cool Jenna Ortega and the Magnetic Willowsmith. The presence of LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnaud showed full support from the House of Representatives for Nathan’s evolving vision.

This collection was a masterclass in sophisticated ease of use and color balance. Nathan explored Stark’s dynamic dialogue between black and white, using them as canvas to burst the sunny yellow or mild blue of the sky. This color play made me feel fresh and optimistic. The silhouettes are just as diverse as they moved from perfectly tailored ready-made evening dresses to fun, youthful denim skirts. The story was separated by the sculptural addition of asymmetrical hats.

With this collection, John Nathan showed off his impressive range and the confident direction of the Dior home. He demonstrated the unique ability to speak to multiple generations without losing refinement. By combining artistic touches with wearable desires, he created a heritage-based Dior course.
