Jeroen Moses doesn’t follow trends or viral moments. She’s a wardrobe stylist first and foremost, and she builds her pieces with intention, grounded in strategy, fit, and real life style.

By day, Jalaun works as a training specialist at Drexel University. Beyond her 9-to-5 job, she is the founder of Jaè Taj. Jaè Taj is a styling practice rooted in helping women curate a wardrobe that aligns with who they are, how they live, and how they want to be seen. Although she uses digital platforms to educate and connect, the core of her work is wardrobe styling, fashion education, and confidence, not influencing clicks.

Welcome to another edition of Curvy Boss Spotlight, The Curvy Fashionista’s bi-weekly series highlighting plus-size professionals who are bosses in their own lane. Professionals who are building careers, businesses, and visibility for themselves across industries and fields where plus-size women are still often overlooked.

Because you can’t be what you can’t see.

In our last Curvy Boss Spotlight, we featured Carla Hardesty of Phenomenal Fashions. This week, Jeroen Moses steps into that spotlight with a story rooted in purpose, passion, and professional style.

She is a stylist first and foremost. Content is a tool, not a title.

Many people may first discover Jeroen online, but she’s intentional about how she defines her work. She is not a “creator who sets styles”. She is a wardrobe stylist and fashion educator who uses content as a tool to teach, reach, and build her community.

Her focus is not on trend cycles, track records, or algorithmic aesthetics. With a focus on fit, comfort and individuality, we help women build wardrobes that support real life.

“Being a training specialist is a job. Being a wardrobe stylist is my passion,” says Geran. “Fashion has been a safe space for me, an expression through creativity, and a way for me to confidently be my authentic self.”

Fashion was never superfluous. It was language, expression, and power.

Jeroen’s love for fashion began in middle school, but she intentionally fell in love with it during her sophomore year of college. As a plus-size woman, she quickly recognized the barriers that existed in the fashion industry.

“Being a plus-size woman, I feel like I was at a huge disadvantage,” she explains. “Fashion became a safe space for me.”

For her, fashion has always been about more than clothes.

“Fashion is an art form. Fashion makes me feel amazing, so I wanted other women to feel the same way,” she says. “Fashion tells a story. As I read, fashion tells your business card. People see that before they know who you are as a person.”

That belief drives her work as a stylist.

“I want to help women choose a wardrobe that fits them and their path in life.”

That philosophy is at the heart of her work as a stylist and educator through her platform. The Style BP.

What a typical day actually looks like

Geran’s days are multi-layered, hectic, and very real.

“I work from home from 9 to 5 and I’m also a first-time mom so it seems like a lot of work,” she says.

In between meetings and motherhood, she refines her workshop materials, researches looks, plans styling education, and continues to build Jaè Taj.

“When it comes to showing up, I just show up,” she says. “I no longer put my passions and desires on the back burner. Yes, my 9-to-5 job pays the bills, but styling, fashion education, and workshops keep me energized and fulfilled.”

Carving a space in a saturated styling industry

One of the biggest challenges Jeroen has faced is standing out in a crowded fashion and styling space, especially as a plus-size stylist.

“For a long time, I didn’t necessarily see women representing my body type in the mainstream fashion conversation,” she explains. “It made it difficult for me to find my direction and have confidence in the kind of work I wanted to put out.”

Her progress happened when she stopped trying to fit into what already existed.

“I’m all about authenticity and building an authentic community around confidence and style for people of all body types,” she says. “Rather than trying to follow trends, we focused on showing how to make fashion work for you, emphasizing fit, comfort and individuality.”

Once she settled on that approach, growth naturally followed and she began to appreciate her inclusive and intentional style.

Representation is visibility with intention

Expression has shaped every part of Geran’s journey.

“Growing up, I rarely saw curvy, plus-size, confident women like me being celebrated in fashion,” she says. “The lack of visibility made it hard for me to believe that my style and body type were included in that conversation.”

For Geran, expression is not an act.

“Representation means visibility with purpose,” she explains. “It’s about people being seen and celebrated for who they are, not as an afterthought or a check-box.”

With more than 67% of women in the United States wearing plus sizes, visibility in the professional fashion world still lags behind reality. Geran’s work directly challenges that disconnect.

“My goal is to contribute to that visibility, to show that style has no size, and to help others notice, feel confident and included in the world of fashion.”

Boost your confidence and style from the inside out

“For me, confidence means not shrinking down to someone else’s standards and embracing who you really are, your curves, your style, your voice,” Geran says.

She cultivates it by having a positive attitude, dressing purposefully, and reminding herself that her presence in the professional fashion space matters.

Through her platform and styling education, she creates a space where others can feel the same permission.

“I aim to create visibility and expression that encourages others to embrace their individuality and feel seen,” she says.

Jeroen’s Plus Size Professional Style Tips

Her advice is grounded and practical.

“Invest in quality basics,” Geran says. “High-quality, versatile pieces like tailored trousers, crisp blouses, and classic blazers are the backbone of countless professional outfits.”

Style doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. It has to work for your life.

What’s next for Gerran Moses?

Styling beyond the closet: Turning expertise into education

For Jeroen, styling is about more than client work and visual inspiration. Education is at the core of her mission.

As a wardrobe stylist, she has translated her approach to fit, confidence, and intentional dressing into a fashion ebook designed to help women better understand how to create a wardrobe that supports real life.

Rather than positioning this book as a trend guide, Geran sees it as an extension of her work as a stylist.

“I want to help women curate a wardrobe that fits them and their path in life,” she says.

This ebook reflects that philosophy, giving readers access to her perspective beyond a single outfit or moment. This allows us to reach women who may not yet be ready for one-on-one styling, but are looking for guidance rooted in confidence, practicality, and self-belief.

Promoting the book, building a community, and continuing to make appearances are all part of her long-term vision to grow as a stylist and fashion educator while expanding into spaces like LTKCon and Amazon Creator Summit.

She describes herself in three words. Sarcastic, creative, evolving.

What’s her favorite way to celebrate a win? “Retail therapy or girls dinner. Caesar salad and espresso martini, please.”

And Jaelan Moses’ dream dinner guests include her high school friend she lost too soon, Kelly Rowland for her beauty and spirit, and Queen Latifah, who paved the way and inspired generations of plus-size women.
