Reimagined bar jacket

One of Dior’s most iconic silhouettes is the iconic bar jacket finished with an iconic pinched waist, the iconic style of the new look collection first created by Christian Dior in 1947. The style was shrunk and trimmed, performed in a cut version, reimagined with loops with ribbon tie, twisted shapes.

Fantasy and imagination

This season’s strongest collection is extremely imaginative. The moments on the runway feel like a movie, colours are coming back, and new ideas are in shape in a way that feels like they’re sprinting through moments of change in the fashion world. “The Dior language is familiar at one time and is amazing,” Anderson explained in the shownotes. “It’s an invitation to dream big. I enjoy the power of fashion to embrace theatres of life and rewire every day into an epic fantasy scape.”
