Animal prints are practically neutral, right? From cheetahs and leopards to ocelots, I have quite a few animal prints in my closet, and have been “discovered” in these bold patterns since the early days of blogging! In my opinion, these motifs balance classic fashion with playful statements.

Animal print pieces can be mixed and dealt with fairly easily, but you can also turn very left without being careful. So today I’ll be styled and share some of my current favorite pieces and discuss how to style chic animal print costumes for 2025 with some things to do and so It emphasizes that it is not!

Do not print styling animals

Leopard jacket, red miniskirt outfit, Prada suede tote, miniskirt, boots

I said it over and over again… fashion should be fun! There are no strict rules, but in the end you should wear what you make you It makes me feel better, here is my personal thing to do.

1. Do not wear head to toe animal prints.

For me, the head-to-toe animal print look can move from stylish to costume-like! Some people can pull it apart, but I usually choose to split the look with other prints, pops of colours, or great neutrals.

2. Mix the prints to match.

I usually stick to one animal version per outfit, but I’m not afraid to mix it with other patterns and match it! Some of my favorite combos? Navy and white striped leopard or ocelot with black and white polka dots. this Midi Dress A great example of printing mixing with leopards and polka dots in one dress. And these Mixed Printed Loafers Another chic example!

3. Do not mix different scales of animal prints.

If you are wearing multiple animal print pieces, you will try to select a pattern of relatively same scale. For example, you can wear these Slingback flat While carrying this Top handle bag Because they have the same printing size. This ensures that your outfit is polished, rather than being too busy or distracted.

4. Do not mix prints or tones of different animals.

Similarly, I try not to mix different animal prints (such as zebras or leopards) or very different tones. Doing this can make your outfit look sloppy or ridiculous!

5. Add a pop of colours.

White, black and brown are great and can be easily mixed with cheetahs and leopards, but the bold pop of colours is also perfect! For example, this fall outfit and this summer look demonstrates how powerful pops of colours enhance the animal print outfit.
