What piece of art has changed the way you see things?
ID: African and Oceanian art has had a huge influence on my design and the way I perceive form. Creators like Andre Groot and Armand Albert Ratau taught me to see design as an immersive experience. There, every detail contributes to a consistent aesthetic.
Which artists and designers do you follow?
ID: Right now I’m particularly drawn to the work of Nacho Carbonell. I really love his exhibition in London. run away before. He also purchased pieces from Frederic Molenschott’s Studio Molen for his home and continues to follow Roger Herrmann’s unique creativity.
What is the most memorable show you saw this year?
ID: Brancusi, initiator of art At the Pompidou Center in Paris. The way Brancusi’s works were displayed, especially the recreation of his studio, left a strong impression on me. It was very moving.
