February Forecast – Julia Berolzheimer

February always feels like a breather, but I have a feeling it’s going to go faster this year. It’s only the beginning of this month, but my calendar is progressing like a boarding pass. There’s a lot going on in New York, a lot of meetings, a lot of momentum.

Behind the scenes, things are changing in ways that are both exhilarating and overwhelming. The project we’ve been building for years is starting to take shape. There’s an energy that comes with it. It’s the feeling of gratitude, the pressure, and the feeling of suddenly standing in a job that used to be all about talking.

So, it’s shaping up to be a busy February in the best sense of the word, with a little travel, a little family time, a few things I can’t share yet, and I’m really looking forward to taking you all with me.

what we are doing

  • New York, twice in a row. This month begins with two trips to New York (this week and next week). We have been meeting and have some things in the works and will share them as soon as they are official.
  • A winter vacation escape. The girls have winter break in the middle of the month, so we’re going to Palm Beach for a long weekend. So many of you sent in your thoughtful recommendations. four seasons — was by far the most acclaimed option.
  • Spend your evening in Charleston all dressed up. There’s a party at the Gibbs Museum this weekend and I’ve been saving money. wear this dressit gives Chanel spring runway vibe!
  • Spring Shopping, thoughtfully edited. A very nice spring has arrived now. Click here for this Substack post.
  • Thomas’ latest creation is Chloe Digital. Thomas is working on a new startup called. Corelli (you’re CORE link), an auto-generated brand page for links in your bio. You can participate Click here for waiting list (Coming soon).
  • Currently looking for new investment destinations. Thomas and I have been slowly investing in our business over the years, but the last few weeks have been filled with meetings to consider new opportunities. This is exciting and reminds me how much I enjoy other aspects of the business apart from what I primarily see on the blog.
  • My goal is to read one book a month. Starting for February the last thing he said to me.
  • Interest in health feels outdated. I’m now prioritizing my health, especially my chronic inflammation from celiac disease and arthritis in my knees (which I’ve had since high school). I’m coming to see Dr. Coniver here in Charleston to learn more about peptides. I’m fascinated by peptides and would like to understand more before making a decision.
  • My current non-negotiables are walking and weight training. I do weighted vest walking on my treadmill at home. My life is fulfilling now, and I am able to take walks at 5 a.m. without having to adjust my class schedule. I’m wearing it this vest Use with 10 lbs. This walking pad/treadmill.

What I’m wearing (organized + expanded)

  • Tory Burch has time for me. recently worn This thin chartreuse shirt and ordered again this turquoise skirt.
  • Brooches are back (at least for me). Bought This Chanel brooch Their latest work inspired me to pull out some old favorites again. this feather thing I found it on Etsy last fall. I love you too This pink Prada thing.
  • Bubble skirt NYC look. this bubble skirt (I wore it with a black Chanel jacket) It’s a really fun silhouette.
Great travel tote. Vee Collective tote bag There’s room for everything and it works perfectly as a weekender.
  • still in progress ducy coat train. I featured this on Weekly Whims a few weeks ago and I still wear it all the time.
  • Chanel 25 Update: I am officially a convert. A few weeks have passed and I am a big fan of Chanel 25. I ended up buying the second smaller size, yellow leather. It was a great bag (wearing it here). There are no images of yellow leather online, but it is the same color. suede here.
  • The most useful red belt. This is repeated:

What I’m Buying (Organize + Expand)

  • a rainbow striped sweater It feels like an instant mood lift.
  • palm beach dress
  • Red refresh. As we emerge from the dullness of winter and head towards early spring, we are now leaning toward red.
  • Butter yellow, keep running. There was a big moment last spring, and it’s still going strong. I ordered this pants wear together this tank and these heels Enjoy a casual night in Palm Beach.
  • Details of Osso Denim. After receiving an invitation to their fashion week show (which I unfortunately had to miss), I went down the rabbit hole on their site and ordered 3 pairs. I’m going to make a Substack video styling these. Here are three.
  • A spring-like polka dot swim. I’ve always heard that polka dots go big, but I’m really interested in this Cult Gaia bikini.
  • Stylish sets at bargain prices. This Le Bop set is pretty good:

What I’m paying attention to

  • tory burch chartreuse blazer
  • Valentino: My jaw is on the floor. Their haute couture collection in Paris last week was stunning. I love Alessandro Michele’s maximalist take on Valentino. Here are some new arrivals worth bookmarking (or using as styling inspiration).
  • Two works that I can’t help but think about.
  • Margot Robbie styling by Andrew Mukamal. Margot’s styling Wuthering Heights The press tour was exceptional. Every look is considered and slightly surprising, balancing costume and period elements with something modern and sharp.
