Legend Donatera Versace Who is at the helm? Versace Since the death of his brother Gianni Versace in 1997, he has officially handed the torch to Dario Vitale.
This change will be made on April 1, 2025, marking the end of the era and the beginning of something new. Versace has experienced many changes in recent years, with Capri Holdings buying the Italian brand for around $2.12 billion.
Donatera, 69, acts as the brand’s chief brand ambassador, and checks on Instagram in posts she read.
“Advocating for the next generation of designers has always been important to me. I’m excited to see Dario Vitale joining us and seeing Versace through new eyes. I want to thank my incredible design team and all of my Versace employees for the privilege to work together for over 30 years.”
The news is bitter sweet, as Donatella Versace has created some of the most iconic moments in fashion, including the JLO’s infamous jungle print Versace dress she wore at the 2000 Grammy Awards. In addition to all the notable ensembles of famous celebrities, including Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and Kim Kardashian.
With a huge history dating back to 1978, Dario Vitale will perform his major duties in a luxury fashion house. He comes from Miu Miu, who returned in January 2025.
With shared posts Versace Instagram page, Dario expressed,

It will be interesting to see how Dario Vitale brings new and new perspectives to the Versace Luxury brand.
