espresso is a clean, cruelty-free Italian makeup brand passionately gatekeepered by European beauty enthusiasts. That was until TikTok got the news earlier this year. No wonder this brand has gone viral. Combining an effective caffeinated formula with minimalist packaging and Italian charm, it’s easy to see why everyone fell in love with these products.

Espresso’s product line includes countless gems, but the one that stole my heart is their liquid highlighter. As background, I have used countless highlighters from different brands and at different price points. I’ve been obsessed with powder highlighters for years, using everything from MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Lightscapade to Becca Champagne Pop (RIP) to Physician’s Formula pearlescent compacts. I also tried a few cream-based products, but found that they ruined my base makeup. Thankfully, I found this highlighter in the shade Sand. It’s the perfect nude champagne color with gold flecks. It gives me an angelic glow that really enhances my features. pop. From the shade to the formula to the packaging, this highlighter was a perfect match on the first use.
