design week south africa It’s a passionate celebration of the country’s boundless design talent and evidence of its unwavering motto.

‘It can be done, it must be done, it will be done!‘

South Africa showed more creativity than usual in October.

Pivot between design worlds johannesburg (October 9-12, 2025) and cape town (23-26 October 2025), An incredible tsunami hits South Africa of creators, makers and shakers of all things beautiful., Innovative and forward-thinking is back in the spotlight.

Textiles, Fashion, Jewellery, Art and Sculpture, Ceramics, Botany, Agriculture and Ecology, Recycling and Upcycling, Architecture and Architecture, Urban Design, Graffiti, Furniture Design, Film, Pet Product Design, Food and Drink, Lifestyle These are just some of the categories where limitless creativity can flourish.

Creators and their entourage – from Designers, fashionistas, models, celebrities, artisans, architects, furniture manufacturers, retailers and wholesaler to media and ordinary people – They were into all this creative commotion.

Shows, presentations, exhibitions, pop-ups, designer collaborations, workshops, tours, talks, panel discussions, demonstrations These are some of the many ways South Africa shows what a creative place it is.
