Christmas at Holyroodhouse Palace
Step into Christmas and 900 years of royal history at Holyroodhouse Palace.
During this festive period, the palace is transformed with spectacular Christmas decorations, including two 12-foot-tall Christmas trees and a wood-paneled throne room mantle garland.
As visitors ascend the grand staircase leading to the historic State Apartments, they are greeted by festive wreaths, bright berries, and seasonal foliage.
In the Royal Dining Room, luxurious tables are set with silver services and candied fruits and leaves.

Head to the Great Gallery to listen to a great Christmas music concert and enjoy a tour of the beautifully decorated state residences of the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Members of St Mary’s Cathedral choir will perform a special program of festive music and the evening will conclude with a glass of wine and mince pies.
