I’m beyond nerd to share news about TCF Book Club with you! If you’re like us, your TBR (to read) list is constantly growing, your Booktok feed is full of Recs, and you live in a late-night reading session that says “just one more chapter” to yourself… 3 times. But it’s here. How often do you see plus-sized characters, such as heroes, heroines, or fantastic leads? It’s not enough. And when they appear, they are often pushed into the rim, given the role of a companion or plagued by harmful stereotypes.
So this National Bookmonthwe are excited to officially launch a brand new one: The TCF Book Club! Think of it as a new cozy corner of the internet dedicated to fat positive stories, bold plus-size heroines, and curveless fantasy and romance adventures.
Why we are launching the TCF Book Club?
The book’s representation has changed, but there is still a long way to go. Plus-size romance and fat positive fantasy novels are gaining more and more love across Booktok, Goodreads and even Trending Book Blogs. Readers are hungry For these stories, and the conversations around them, grow loudly every day. We love to see it, but here’s the catch. These stories are often scattered, difficult to find, and rarely spotlighted by mainstream media.
That’s where the TCF Book Club appears. We’re here to fill that gap. Instead of digging random Goodreads shelf Or, if you scroll endlessly in Tiktok, you’ll find one-stop destinations and you’ll find the best plus-size romances, fantasy adventures, and even comics featuring fat-positive characters. We create hubs that are easy to discover, large celebrations, and communities are at the heart of everything.
