Until recently, I had a really hard time styling my trainers. I usually like my outfits to look polished, but I’ve found that no matter how hard I try, trainers don’t give me the look I want. A chameleon of footwear, this discreet trainer trend is neatly incorporated into sophisticated ensembles, maintaining a sophisticated look without coming off as too sporty or too casual like trainers.
A classic, neutral shade, beige is perfect for styling with a wide range of colors. We think beige trainers really liven up the classic blue jeans vibe, but you’ll also often see this on-trend style paired with gray tailored trousers or black wide-leg trousers.
While less obtrusive than the flashy sweatshirt trend that’s been popular this season, these trainers retain a timeless quality that you’ll be able to style in your wardrobe for years to come. Some may say it’s easier to match than white trainers. In my opinion, the soft shade of light beige feels less drab, a little dressier, and more wearable in my book.
