How would you describe your style as a makeup artist?
I try to use my techniques to develop conceptual looks that convey my emotions. Naturally, this led to her adopting a dark, feminine aesthetic, often described as elegant and minimalist. I feel drawn to the state of mind of our generation, which believes the world is on the verge of collapse, while adding a touch of fantasy, especially regarding apocalyptic creatures. As a highly spiritual and optimistic person, I use my art as a way to share the complexity of the human experience.
What encounter has had the biggest impact on you since joining the company?
It’s definitely one of my recent experiences. Arca’s solo piano show at the Trade Exchange where she showcased her charm was a big highlight for me. During this three-day experience, I not only had the opportunity to create her stunning looks, but also had the opportunity to witness her mesmerizing performance in an intimate setting. Best of all, I had the privilege of hearing her talk about her journey and her unique perspective on art in various interviews. In addition to this encounter, I had the opportunity to meet some inspiring designers and even better, I had the wonderful opportunity to chat with Björk backstage before seeing these two icons perform together. I did. That moment changed the course of my career and had a lasting impact on my personal life.

What is your skincare/makeup routine?
Start by cleansing and moisturizing your face. One of my favorite methods is to highlight my eyes with black eyeliner along the waterline, then draw a subtle brown smokey eye with my fingertips. If you want to add an extra touch, you can apply metallic pigments on top for a gorgeous effect. And of course, there are plenty of mascaras to complete the look. No matter the time of day or how tired I am, every night I make sure to remove my makeup and pamper my skin with a nourishing night serum.
